What do you like best about Qminder?

Qminder provides me with fantastic insights realating to the demand on the service my deparment provides; this allows us to better manager our time, and also means that our users can plan their visits around our quieter periods.

Being able to see historical data means that we can better prepare for each semester, and know what times we need cover at, and when our down times are likely to be, allowing us to work on other tasks.

The open and closed hours, as well as the one off closures makes it easier for my department to book in team meetings, and ensure the information is conveyed to our stakeholders.

I've had Qminder in my department for nigh on 10 years now, and it's implementation, support, and use have been of fantastic help to managing the demand my department faces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qminder?

I wish that there was a bit more freedom to make changes on Qminder, such as the messages displayed on the iPad or TV Screen.

Previously the ability for our stakeholders to sign in remotely using the app made it much easier for students to wait away from the department, unfortunately with that feature being no longer supported, we have to provide buzzers to our students to recall them.

I also think the cost of the text message service is too high, which is why we have never implemented it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Qminder?

It's a great way to keep track of clients that come into the showroom. It helps the different teams communicate with each other so we can efficiently assist clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qminder?

When adding a new visitor, the program defaults to the previous service that was used for the last client you checked in. It is not the end of the world. However sometimes we forget to change it! And it can cause confusion. I dont see an effective way to prevent that from happening. Maybe defaulting to no service at all so you have to choose a service everytime. What do you like best about Qminder?

The convenient reminder when a customer signs in, and it alerts me when they come in. Also, the insight data is very useful to keep track of monthly and yearly progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Qminder?

Qminder is incredibly simple to setup. We love the ability to have our staff chat with clients from the interface while clients are waiting. We love the Apple TV App that shows clients right where they are in the queue. We started out using Qminder at one campus and are in the midst of expanding it to all of our campuses. What do you dislike about Qminder?

We wish that the user interface our clients see when they sign in was more customizable. Our work around was to hook up a Gravity Form via Zapier to pass through the data to Qminder for the sake of our unique use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Qminder?

I like how easy the site is to use, it's so relevant in my line of work, I use it every day - and I really like how you can use the label function to seperate visitors and communicate with my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes our visitors get confused with the opening page 'tap to sign in' - I think being able to change the button to 'sign in for service' or something similar would work for us, just in terms of customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Qminder?

It's so helpful to see how many students are waiting as a busy school counselor, as I use Qminder every day and multiple times a day. This helps me allocate time better by managing the line I have. This also allows me to stay in my office and by far is better than paper and pencil check ins! I also like that I can see which students visited that day or week so that I can capture that information to document visit history in our student information system. The Qminder team has also always been incredibly attentive which is so appreciated! I had no issues adjusting to Qminder and it has been relatively straightforward for all users. What do you dislike about Qminder?

It can be challenging to forward a student to a different counselor, but this is because we use Qminder for purposes other than it was originally built for, I believe. I also struggle with remembering to make myself unavailable when running to a meeting - I'd love to see it sync with Google Calendar someday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Qminder?

I like that the clients info is available, should I need to call them after the visit. For example if they left without one of their items. I also like that it keeps up with how many customers I serve, and what company they are from. I also like that I can use it in different branches. What do you dislike about Qminder?

I really don't have any complaints about it. Some of my contractors don't like signing in to it, and they think it's an inconvience for them. I try to be as nice as possible about it and let them know that it is just how my company tries to see that I'm doing my job.

It would be nice if there was a way to edit how long a customer has been in que though, or to adjust when you actually finish with a customer. My collegues don't always take them out of the que and sometimes I don't see it until the next day and it looks like a customer has been waiting for 15 hours etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
