A scheme which offers perks to customers of retirement firm Saga has signed up 850,000 members.
Saga's Possibilities programme offers concert and theatre tickets, and deals in shops.
The idea is to keep members coming back, and to sell them other products.
Launched a year ago, it has doled out invites to 111 events, with Saga boss Lance Batchelor seeing it as a key driver of growth. It is in talks to expand its offers.
Saga reported profits of £106.8 million for the six months to July 31, down 3.7 per cent on a year earlier. The interim dividend was 3p per share.
