About me
I am currently a 4th year student in the department of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education (EPHE) at the University of Victoria. By April of 2014, I hope to be graduated with a Bachelors of Education in Physical Education, as well as French.
Since my arrival at Uvic 4 years ago I have been a member of the Physical Education Student's Association (PESA), and for 3 of those years I have been the club President. I hope to continue our efforts in promoting physical activity, and fundraising for charity after graduating from Uvic.
After graduation, I plan to travel to France to solidify my knowledge and fluency of the language. Soon after, I hope to get a job in the education field teaching both of my subject areas. I am open to traveling away from Canada, although it would be ideal for me to stay in my home country.

After School Program Leader at Shoreline Middle School
January 2013After school, between the hours of 3-6, all students are invited to join in on our free after school physical activity program. My duties include, creating, monitoring, facilitating and participating in physical activities both indoors and out. Students are given snacks (veggies and popcorn), and are encouraged to participate in all activities! The aim of the program is to increase daily physical activity in students, as well as provide an environment where students feel safe and comfortable being themselves.

2006 - 2012Cheryl's Gourmet is a high end catering service on Vancouver Island. I began working there as a dishwasher in my high school days and eventually progressed into a managerial position that helped conduct high end catering events. My duties included cooking, serving, and bartending, as well as many other duties that were entrusted to me.
