At Bing Webmaster Tools, we work to continuously improve based on feedback from webmasters and site owners. To help simplify the site verification process, Bing Webmaster Tools now supports a feature that lets you verify your sites by importing them directly from Google Search Console. The imported sites will be automatically verified, eliminating the need for manual site verification steps.
Both Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console use similar methods for site verification methods, including uploading an XML file, adding a meta tag, updating a DNS record, or using a domain provider integration. Using the import feature, you can connect your verified sites and sitemaps directly to Bing Webmaster Tools without repeating the verification process.
How to Import Verified Sites from Google Search Console into Bing Webmaster Tools:
Webmasters can verify their sites in Bing by following these four steps:
Step 1: Sign-in to your Bing Webmaster Tools account or create a new one here.
Step 2: Navigate to My Sites page on Bing Webmaster Tools and click Import.

Step 3: Sign-in with your Google Search Console account and click Allow to give Bing Webmaster Tools access to your list of verified sites and sitemaps.
Step 4: After authentication, Bing Webmaster Tools will display the list of verified sites present in your Google Search Console account along with the number of Sitemaps and corresponding role for each site. Select the sites which you want to add to Bing Webmaster Tools and click Import.
Webmasters can import multiple sites from multiple Google Search Console accounts. Up to 100 websites can be imported at once. If you need to import more than 100 sites, repeat the steps above. The limit of 1000 sites addition per Bing Webmaster Tools account still applies. On successful completion, the selected sites will be added and automatically verified in Bing Webmaster Tools. Please note that it might take up to 48 hours to get traffic data for the newly verified websites.
Bing Webmaster Tools will periodically validate your site ownership status by syncing with your Google Search Console account. Therefore, if access to your Google Search Console account is revoked, you will need to reconnect or verify your sites using an alternative verification method, such as a meta tag or DNS record.
Other Site Verification Options in Bing Webmaster Tools
In addition to importing from Google Search Console, you can also verify site ownership using several supported methods, such as Domain Connect, uploading an XML file, adding a meta tag, or updating your DNS records.
