as a student on the recieving end of this torture device to all other students, feel lucky you dont have to use this. to the students that do, just revise from your book, its so much less painful, teachers are just trying to make you think that its worth using because the school has to pay every year for you to use it.

The reviews on MyMaths is terrible. And my school uses this software despite not setting any homework on it. I wonder as to just WHY did they choose this out of all possible maths homework software? Still, could be worse, you could be forced to use the monstrosity that is called MathsWatch. (NOTE: I choose to remain anonymous, I shall not disclose my name or the name of the school I am in.)

This website could feel more childish in design, which is probably mostly why the majority hate MyMaths. Although, instead of writing down calculations, methods are actually displayed in order to solve the questions. This is how skills can be easily be presented. This solution needs to be taken more significantly in maths online. Papers of useless writing could be saved. It is not the best but does cure half of the stress levels that have been caused for all the years ago.

The developer's or person responsible for this website should be held in police custody for breaking the law, subscribing schools (including Outstanding ones! Holly S**t!) Only to destroy the lives of future generations.
They obviously have not studied visual ergonomics, which is so bloody simple and have also badly laid out each page like a monkey on crack. God help this generation now My Maths!

Wrong answers. If scum who creates questions doesn't know math on primary school level should not be allowed to do it. Mamy times questions only confuses child with totaly wrong answers. But so called author is not even able to properly round up numbers. And since when we write 0.90???
0.9 was wrong answer despite they asked to use as few numbers as possible
It's only one example on terrible quality of that website, I do not know why teachers use it

MyMaths breaks problems down into steps and you don't have to rely on some moron to talk super slow and get the answer wrong anyway in the end. Wish my school still used this because when we were using this I was topping every test and assignment.

Ok this is what went wrong

Every time you do the homework and don't get the percentage this is required to finish the homework it gives you a new question which is annoying
(But it kinda helps because people might have good memory of the questions but it is still annoying)

Now the practice they are hard and difficult to understand (maybe because I suck at following what people are explaining)

And then the actual homework it is rigged as hell and I can't seem to get the amount required to do it

So in conclusion mymaths is horrific it does not encourage kids to do homework it just make them feel like crap and useless

This is the best program to discourage children from the art of mathematics. Got a child who won't leave their study desk? Give 'em this, it'll do the trick. Bet.

THIS IS A TERRIBLE WEBSITE!

I have been using my maths for 2 years now because of my teachers setting assignments there and it is utterly atrocious! The marking system is terrible, it once gave me 40% on something so I did it again with the exact same questions and the answer changed! No explanations, lessons are terrible and befuddling, and a fustratingly pathetic website overall. TAKE IT DOWN.

it is so bad. i am in S3 (year 9 for the brits) and they still give us this as homework. we used this website in primary school (like as early as p4 i think) and i always hated it so much. please take down this website for child labour, it doesnt teach me anything, it explains everything horribly and it just ruins my day. they dont give you any hints, their online lesson thing doesnt help me with anything, overall a very bad experience. i will message the british government to take down this website and sue the creators.

not good. try the lesson is not good it doesn't even explain the concept of the task clearly and if u use too much time doing the task and mark it says the time has run out and whatever some people find it tricky and need more time it is not good

"Lessons" raise more questions than they answer and the explanations are often very poor - some of the logic is obscure and isn't made clear at all. Logging in is a pain, and the marking system is awful.

well, mymaths...it is horrifically outdated, offers no help, videos make no sense, tries to apply pressure to you making you stressed, marks correct answers incorrect... do not recommend.

this is a horrible website and it is a pain to log into. if you look at other reviews the agree and teachers continue to use it which i find crazy. you would think with this many bad reviews they would try and make there website better and improve it, or teachers would stop using it but no. personal i think teachers should stop using this.

My math’s literally made me question my existence. Not only did I poke my eyes out with the pen I was writing with but I also, ripped all my hair out of my scalp. I ended up hospitalised in a COMA for 2 months because my sister used it and it made her so mad she threw a chair at me. I was at my house and my mum came into my room with the laundry. The moment she saw my maths on my screen she grabbed my laptop and ripped it in half. She was so upset that she flung herself out a window. My mum is now 6feet under and it’s because of my maths. If you want to use this app you might aswell record a dancing tik tok infront of an active volcano.

I understand that Mymaths may, "help children brighten up" and "expand their knowledge of maths" but if kids are going to learn maths they should just sue Mymath and get themselves a textbook. The point of learning is to store certain things in our long-term memory. However, Mymaths does not do this. The "step by step" instructions on the lessons just create more questions, leading kids to look back at other topics that are needed to learn the other topic. It could have ended there, but it doesn't. Kids fall in the responsibility of having to keep looking back and back in topics, slowly filling up their processing capability. This forces many kids to give up or rage. This could easily be fixed with good and more broken-up explanations and some fun elements in the "homework and lesson" section by helping kids enjoy maths instead of being asked to sit through it for 3 hours then forget it all in 1 minute after they finish one level 5 task.

One of my son's tasks was marked as incorrect when it was clearly correct. I tried to find a way to report the discrepancy back to them, but it's just not an option - they don't expect any feedback from either student or parent. That means that they don't have a chance to correct it.
Too bad.
