Failure to protect their customers & accept their fair share of the risks associated with a lease and an auto accident. They will ding you for excessive wear and tear, despite you being 100% not at fault for the accident. They fail to provide instructions to protect you against this - you cant find information anywhere on their website! Uneducated representatives who could not tell me what to do, after THREE phone calls- all of which I waited ***** mins on HOLD! They dont even have a callback feature. How outdated is that?Unethical sales representatives who LIE directly to the customers face- FAILING to mention that the customer will LOSE all money down if a leased car is in an accident, seconds off driving it off the lot (regardless if its their fault). That should be a REQUIRED disclaimer by law. I will be writing legislators to propose new laws. Apparently, Acura feels as if they ***** all auto insurance laws for they require their vehicles to be repaired by an Acura shop, yet they dont write that anywhere, but they will charge you when you turn the car back in for excessive wear and tear. The shop I brought my car to her repairs has logo of Acura and ***** on it but apparently oh after the fact, theyre only a ***** certified.not okay. Their policies are unethically and whomever is in charge of them sincerely needs to be fired. My brand new Acura MDX was hit by a drunk driver while parked in front of my house and now Im going to be blamed and penalized when I go to turn in that vehicle after my lease is done, for excessive wear & tear - please tell me how is that ethical? Their customer service representative confirmed this will occur claiming that both ***** and Acura are extremely strict with their evaluation process. Its recorded. I give 1 star only because the customer service rep was nice other wise the company as a whole gets a zero. I made a payment of $608 towards my leased 2020 MDX on Dec 26th 2023. On Jan 10 **** I decided to upgrade since my lease end was coming up. On that day I made another payment of $680 for the **** MDX. I asked if they can credit me at least half of the money I sent them on Dec since I did not keep the vehicle for the entire month and I was told NO. Supposedly it is against their policy to refund or partially refund money after the payment was made. That sounds like they can rob people free at will with no consequences. Throughout the three years I had the 2020 MDX, I never missed a payment even during the heart of COVID 19. This is how they treat valuable customers. After my new lease is over, ACURA will loose me as a customer. I will make sure all my friends and family NEVER finance or lease ACURA.Acura Financial Services Response

I would give zero stars, if I could. This company has no idea what customer service is. We received a notice in August 2023 stating that if we didnt pay the property tax on the car they would send our account to a collection company. We had sold the car in 2022 and paid off the lease. When we called and explained that, we were informed that the plates hadnt been cancelled at the same time that we paid off the lease. Because of that we owed the tax. Our town said that was incorrect and with proof they would reimburse Acura . Acura still required we pay them even though they would be reimbursed . The town has now reimbursed Acura but Acura cant locate a check that was submitted 2 1/2 months ago. They offered no resolution even though I sent them a copy of the check. They keep saying that I need to be patient, it takes up to 3 months for a check to clear. This has been going on for 4 months. I have done my due diligence and provided proof that the lease was paid off, we no longer own the car and the town has sent the check to Acura. Acura only tells me to be patient . There is no apology or offer to expedite this process.Review from Diana R

Zero stars if I could. People are extremely incompetent and do not care about customers. They have a script and thats all they follow without using any common sense to assess the situation. Everything was fine while I was leasing, but then purchased my car and continued to get charged due to mistakes made; After countless phone calls and time wasted the issue got resolved. Three months later again my account has a balance of over $1000 for proper taxes that I already paid. Really the worst part is that no one cares enough to look deeper into the issue and everybody works like a robot and has the same script they follow when handling issues. For over 20 years Ive been doing business with ************* never once have I had any issues of this magnitude.Acura Financial Services Response

Horrendous customer service. They turn on Easypay when you extend your lease, change your payment due date without notifying you. After charging your account a week before your scheduled due date then proceed to add on a $25 fee for returned check fee. Well, when you help yourself to my checking whenever you like you should pay that fee. The customer service rep ******** was argumentative with me telling me I turned Easypay and changed my payment date to a week earlier, when the Easypay feature hasnt been used in 7 months. She was aggressive in her tone and said she couldnt help me with the returned check fee and would send a message to have the charge investigated. That when she received a response she would call me within 3-5 days. Well its been over a week now with no response. Acura customer service *****. I will not be leasing another Acura in the future because they dont value or respect their customers.Acura Financial Services Response

Zero stars, if I could. I extended my car lease, and was on a month-to-month lease with them. I returned the car a month early (in Nov 2022 instead of Dec 2022), and Acura had already charged me for the month of December. I called, and the person on the line said I could get my money back, but I never did. I called them about the money this year, and they told me to ask the dealer for the money back - which is ridiculous. They are the ones who charged my bank. After 6 or 7 calls to their offices, it seems that what happened is that Acura Financial Services made a mistake - they over-charged me, applied my money to the value of the car, and then the dealer under-paid for the vehicle. We called the dealer together, but the dealer was also unwilling to pay. At the end of the day, Acura Financial Services is the one who charged me, and they still owe me my final payment back from December 2022. It took me at least 7 phone calls to get to this. Terrible customer service and I am about to file a small claims.Acura Financial Services Response

I have been leasing from Acura for years and customer loyalty means nothing to this conclave of rabid savages. They overcharged my wife because she is a woman, when I went in the prices for lease and finances were different even though she has the better credit score. I have never been more insulted in my life and disgusted by their crooked business practices.Review from Greg H

Bought an RDX and never received my welcome package so I don't have my accunt number. Tried to enter my VIN and the Acura idiots don't recognise the vehicle. Trying to contact them is an unbelievable waste of time. Acura...have an american software engineer redesign your website so itis functional.Acura Financial Services Response

Terrible customer service. I spent 3 months trying to get autopay implemented. I mailed them the bank information using their form. Then I called and called, waiting a long time on hold each time, getting forwarded from one department to another. Each time they saw that I had given them the information but each person I talked to had to tell a different department to implement the autopay, and it never happened. Super frustrating, massive red tape, poor service, long hold times, late fees that I didn't deserve. I will never use Acura Financial Services again.Acura Financial Services Response

Absoutely the worst website I've ever used. I leased a new Acura MDX in January. I've tried to enter the new vehicle information on Acura *************************** Garage and repeatedly have had to reset my passwords for both. Just got on and was off after trying to add my new MDX. Tried to sign in again and the msg. was the same: didn't recognize my user name or password and I use a p'word mgr. My garage shows my old vehicle and won't let me add the new one. Tried to request a call and I couldn't enter my number just my state.
