I made a mistake regarding the coverage needed for my car, and it took them about one month to realize that. When they informed me, I fixed it right away. However, they ended up charging me $2000 for the time it took them to notice the error. I tried talking to them, but apparently, they are not responsible for their mistakes. Yet, you have to be responsible for yours and pay them. Customer service deserves one star; they are not here to help you, just to collect.
If I could give zero stars, I would, due to the bad service. I called them to get help and they blocked my card because I created my security questions and didn't know how to spell the answers regarding them. Then, in trying to unblock my card, I sent emails as they requested. It's been 3 months and I'm still waiting for them to unblock my card.
If they offer affinity, go literally anywhere else. Member care is impossible to reach, and they don’t care about you. The loan hasn't decreased in years, and communication is non-existent. Customer service at the only ones who answer and they are limited in what they can do which is basically take payments.
Couldn't keep up with when I made payments- even when I had banking proof of payments- My loan hasn't decreased in years and no one can explain why. Terrible service and at home workers have no clue how to help. They say they will pass it on to unknown person and no one returns your calls. This has to be illegal! Going to a lawyer. Will never tell anyone to use them. I went to save interest rate and not one penny has decreased in years. How is that possible? I actually more on my car now than when I bought it. It is a mess!
Had a mortgage with them for 17 years,since I bought my house. In 2016 they refused to take the next scheduled mortgage pymt. Then they claimed I didn't pay them for a 6 mo period! While we were trying to figure this out, since I did pay them and had proof of payments, they sent papers to my house that they were taking me to court to foreclose on me. Long story short, they applied my mortgage payments to the wrong months in the wrong amount and even to the wrong years, which caused current months to appear unpaid on paper. They ran with this. For five whole years I fought them in court to prevent foreclosure. Somehow, the county court sided with them, regardless of the checks showing their endorsements on the backside. They STOLE my house.
Their accounting screwup caused me to lose my entire HOUSE of 17 years. They had me served by a sheriff in the middle of lockdown. They said the foreclosure auction was postponed, yet they sold it anyway and never postponed it. Myself and my family went homeless because if them, during the pandemic. We lived out of hotels. THEY STOLE MY HOUSE even though I paid every month, never behind never late. They got away with it. They know what they did.
My credit won't recover for years, my child went through trauma of attending school from a hotel losing the only home he ever knew. We've suffered physically & mentally because of what they did. We'll never get over this, ever. We lost furniture, stability, credit, security, etc. Because of them. The respa violations were off the charts, they lied in court under oath, they lied to their attorneys, they lied to me. They're thieves who committed a crime. Stay far away if you want to live in your home forever. I'm not leaving anything out, they really did do this to us.
My experience with them has been nothing but a headache. First, upon applying for their Amazon card, they slipped in the fine print confusing language about switching to a different card I didn't want, and I didn't catch that, so I've ended up with a bad card. This was after they forced me to open a savings account and donate $10 to something, and deposit $5. Also, their phone system is a complete nightmare to use, and it takes at least 5 minutes to get to a representative. Highly recommend staying AWAY from this company.
