      Sales person opened a credit card under my name WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I didnt even know it happened until I received an email saying my credit card is on the way what??? Dishonest behavior opening an unauthorized card.

      Like everyone else in ******* ** we got sucked into this timeshare wich is what they shouldn't be able to do we kept telling the guy no no no he kept saying it will be ok ill be back then would come back with a smaller payment we would say no no no then the guy that does the finalizing at the end kept scrolling fast from page to page and saying this is nothing over and over on certain pages and on one of them were the page that says you only have five days to cancel the timeshare we did not know this then 7 days later someone called and ask how are you enjoying the timeshare I was like really 7 days later I said we need to cancel we didn't even know what a timeshare was wich is why it was so easy to do this to us anyways the lady said you can't cancel you only 5 days to decide not 7 she said you should of gotten a USB drive with your papers wich is what the last guy was going through with us and hid that paper we was tricked I am on permanent disability and the wife is retired we told them that and somehow still did this to us once your in it you can't get out even like us someone who can't afford it they don't care PLEASE LISTEN DO NOT DO IT

      this is such a horrible scam. Me and my wife went to the "presentation" just so we can get all of our free stuff, paid the deposit, did the thing, sent our voucher in for the free getaway and never heard anything back. I called them to see what was going on and was told i didn't respond to them in time and it was cancelled but they'll reinstate it, so I filled out even more paperwork, mailed it again and was told I had to pay another deposit and as they tried to upsell me on paying more for a longer vacation. After some back and forth with the very rude, condescending lady on the phone, I told her we're no longer interested, we werent paying another deposit and she then proceeded to just hang up on us. Avoid this place and all their scam hotels at all costs

      If you are ever approached by anyone from this group offering free vacation and or cruises, RUN. Paid $60 upfront, supposed taxes. Spent 4 hrs there instead of 90 min while they harassed us to finally give in. We bought into the Discovery plan. None of the free trips are free. Infact checking on booking.com I can get the same price. Now we find we can't use the services we are buying until it's halfway paid in 9 months and the points expire in 18 months. BTW they claim they are part of BBB but they are not. SCAM

      I figure I could write three full pages about the ** Wyndham Vacation Clubs has told me over my 10 years of ownership but I won't. I'll keep it really simple - DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH WYNDHAM VACATION CLU**.

      We booked a preview at ********* in ******, ** through Wyndham. On the second morning of our stay, we found two bed bugs in our bed. We informed the hotel, and they told us to call Wyndham. We called Wyndham customer service who told us to call some other Wyndham hotline. We called that number and were told to call the first number again. It went in circles like this a few times. We originally asked if there was any other hotel availability as we didnt want to stay in a hotel with bed bugs. They told us they could only put us in another room in the same hotel. We said, in that case, we would want to leave our vacation early and requested at least a partial refund. Everyone we spoke to at Wyndham said we would have to speak to someone else about that. Ultimately, we were told they had submitted a complaint ticket and someone from Wyndham would be calling us back about it shortly. Based on all of our conversations, this seems unlikely to happen. It was bad enough to find the bed bugs, but getting the run-around from every Wyndham representative was even more frustrating. We will not be staying with them again.

      Wyndham ripped me off! I owned ****** annual timeshare credits that I had owned for over 20 years!! After over 20 years of paying maintenance fees (and I rarely used the credits) I hit a really bad spot financially and fell behind on my maintenance fees. They sent me a letter threatening to cancel my membership if I didn't make a payment within a specified timeframe. I called an informed them of when I would be making a payment. True to my word, I made a payment of nearly $2,000 to bring my account current. They drafted the money from my bank account, and then canceled my shares. When I realized this about six months later upone trying to make a reservation, I asked to have my ownership reinstated because they canceled my contract in error. They agreed to do so only IF I paid the maintenance fees during the time my shares were canceled, despite the fact I was unable to use the credits which I had intended to use for travel and instead, I had to pay for a hotel. They stole my money and they ripped me off, stealing ****** timeshare credits!!

      This review is a warning to others to stay away from Worldmark by Wyndham! Associating ourselves with WorldMark is the most disappointing and disastrous decision of our lives. We have been betrayed and taken advantage of. The high pressure sense of urgency started from the beginning. They left us no room to even think about it with all the information that they overwhelmed us with. They promised access to ****** parks and other magical destinations, but it was nothing more than lies designed to lure us into a contract. The sales associates were not only pushy, but also displayed a clear intent to scheme and manipulate us into making a purchase. We were held captive, as our IDs were withheld until the presentation concluded. Eventually, we caved to the pressure and signed up with just enough credits to pass an equal number of points to each of our children, which turned out to be another lie. We were also further coerced into buying even more points. What they failed to tell us was that our kids would be left with the burden of paying maintenance fees for the rest of their lives. Why would we knowingly do that to our kids? Lastly, the closing and paperwork were equally frustrating. It was rushed and lasted a mere fifteen minutes, leaving us with a sense of unease and unanswered questions. The loan officer failed to address any of our concerns and neglected to disclose our right to rescind the contract. It deeply saddens me to encounter such deceptive practices from Worldmark. Reading many other reviews, I am not alone as I see others also fell victim to their sneaky sales tactics. Everything we were told when buying was a total lie! The high pressure sales, bribery, and lies have put us in a position where we are beyond frustrated. Stop with the mistreatment and disrespect of your hard working valued owners!

      They deserve a zero for a review. 30 years ago we purchased a timeshare with Trendwest. They were acquired by Worldmark. Using Worldmark points, we stayed in ********* where we attended an owners meeting. During this meeting, the saleswoman we were assigned to, told use that we wouldnt need to pay the maintenance fees anymore, unless we was used it.- She said we could take that money, instead, that we were spending on that monthly and buy more points. That piqued my interest. I was upfront, and I said that all I could afford was $200/month. She told me that they would combine my current Worldmark points with my new Wyndham points to have the best of both worlds. 4 hours later, I walked out with what I thought was an upgraded contract. Instead, I have learned, it is an entirely new contract! And guess what? I HAVE to make ALL maintenance fees monthly on both and was billed $795.00 per month, not including our other Worldmark fees. To further complicate things, I was signed up to the contract as a single woman, as it took so long, my husband stepped out side for a bit. It is my understanding that in any real estate transaction, if a person is married, the contract cannot be signed without the spouse. This was described as a real estate investment, so fraud has been committed. Plus, they never gave me the contract and when they emailed it to me, it was corrupted.My husband is not working, leaving me as the sole breadwinner and am now extended beyond my means. Wyndham is hands down the most unethical company I have ever had the miss pleasure of interacting with. Not to mention, they didnt provide me with a copy of my contract, and instead emailed it to my husband (who didnt sign the contract) weeks later. When I went to look at the contract, the file was corrupted. To this day, I have not seen the contract in its entirety. Do yourself a favor, NEVER EVER BUY INTO THE WYNDHAM SCAM!
