Atrium Health teammates are able to select from two different Atrium Provider Networks—Value and Preferred—in addition to the MedCost Network. The Atrium Health Value Network is composed of primarily Atrium Health providers. If you have a question about a particular provider's network designation, please call the MedCost Customer Contact Center at 1-800-204-2085.

LiveWELL Care, formerly known as On-Site Care, is designed to provide increased access to care. Whether you are at work or at home when health symptoms arise, we are available for convenient and reliable care for you, your spouse and your dependents (age 6 months and up) on the LiveWELL Health Plan.

Before searching for providers in the Atrium Health network, please take note of the following information:
Atrium Health's network includes all non-behavioral health MedCost Network providers with the exception of all Novant Health facilities. These facilities are out-of-network providers except in the case of a medical emergency. This includes but is not limited to Rowan Regional Medical Center, Presbyterian HealthCare Hospitals, Presbyterian Imaging Center, Orthopedic Hospital, Same Day Surgery Center, Surgery Center–South Park and Surgery Center–Huntersville. This is not a complete listing. Behavioral health providers may be found on the Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance website (see more information below).

Atrium Health employee coverage for mental health and substance abuse services is coordinated through Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance, LLC. In order to receive benefits for non-emergency care you must receive advance certification by calling CBHA at 1-800-475-7900 and you must use a CBHA provider.
