It's easy to book on lots of sites - but then you find hidden fees, sneaky ways of asking things that cost you more money, etc. On GoToGate it's all totally clear and transparent. I love how they fill in the passengers' names as you type! And that it's very clear you've already paid for baggage! Forget the ones that might be $10 or $20 less...it's worth the extra for this confidence and peace of mind!
I had booked tickets for my son for travel in Sept 2022. We had to cancel the tickets and the company representative advised that the refund will happen in few days. Despite calling a number of times and sending the emails the status remains the same and the standard replies without any commitment. Worst experience dealing with the company. The amount is about USD 600. Will never book any tickets from this company in future. Could have given Zero rating had there been such option. The ref is LQD3VU.

They have received the refunds for my cancelled flight for 31 March 2020 since 23 March this year from Emirates. Until now they didn't reimburse me. I called them 3 months ago. They kept me on the phone for 2 hours. I was told they had instigated the fund and I would get it within 72 hours. After 3 months still no refund. Never buy air ticket from this travel agent again. They are base in Sweden so can only complain to European ombudsman which is hopeless. So be WARN

The biggest scam of all! They literally charged me 1400$ for nonexistent flight.
After confirming that the money is gonna be refunded back and that I should just go ahead and book a different flight because apparently the first one was a bust.
So I did!
Appears that that's exactly what happened with the second one!
Now 3 weeks after I am without a flight and -3000$ in minus! Because mofos completed both payments and placed a ban on charge back!
How is this even possible!

Go to gate and my trip.com are the same company, be aware that even though you will pay extra so that the refund will be guaranteed, that won’t happen!

I PAID IT THAT WAY, and they charged me full price 124.99 euro.
Their number is out of service.
Their chats are BOTS, and if you do get a human, it's just a repeat of conversation.

Will never be using GOTOGATE again. They ruined my holiday on top of that said they will get my refund and charge me £30 which I agreed to then after 5 months instead of deducting £30 they took £141.06 apparently its there company policy and when I rang up to complain they said they don't take complaints over the phone. Been cheated out of my family holiday and money. My advice please stay well clear of this company
Airline cancelled my flight the same day I made the booking. Airline refunded GoToGate and they refused to release it to me until I payed their "assisted fee" of $21/person. Customer rep was terrible, just repeated lines from a script and said no one in the world could ever waive the fee. Had no choice but to pay the fees as they were holding my money hostage. Never ever using this service again. Will report them to BBB.

I was not allowed to get on board as I was not informed in-time to undergo PCR test for COVID19. Now being at Narita airport, I wished this ticket be shifted to next day or let me know about its full refund. But no feedback.
After getting quick help, I could have moved for buying new ticket or stayed one day more near airport to board an alternatively arranged booking.
They have one of the worse customer services I have ever seen. They lie to you when you contact them and intentionally don't complete some of the bookings online and tell you things like it is in a pending state. Wait a 72 hours and it will send confirmation. If you wait any period of time and call them especially if it is on a holiday, their answer is it didn't go through you can rebook, knowing that they have raised the rate at least 60 dollars. And it is an endless loop. Complete incompetent Customer Service!

Flight. They charged the cards, and claimed that it was pending. Then later said it wasn't pending and I would get the confirmation in a few hours. After hours passed they claimed they never completed and offered me the ticket for $60 more.
These guys use an old trick: the flight itself is 1-2$ cheaper than other sites, but if you add bags, carry on items, or any other service you will pay 4 times the amount for that service. So you end up with a totally outrageous price for the ticket.
When trying to cancel a ticket they will ask for an outrageous fee for the cancellation, so you will end up losing most of the ticket price.

I have been trying to get a refund for over seven months. The email exchange with this company is really poor, as soon as they get your money they don't care about you. I am so sad to see these kinds of companies continue to abuse without any accountability. There should be an authority to stop them. I will continue to denounce this on all platforms. It took them one year and a half to admit they have to do a refound (probably the flight company refounded to them) and then they send you an email that they will refound in 5 days but they never do.and they don't provide you any bank info to show you they really did the refound.they provide a reference id that your bank can't use to trace the money...If a transaction even exists. Don't expect their help in case you hit an issue.

Well, the book processes a little confusing, Kitchener/Waterloo is not Toronto. Then you use the term Kitchener Lake? Lived in the area for 36 years, never heard the term. But I did manage by going by the call sign of YKF. This is how Customers make mistakes when they don't know. I would hope that you would make it easier.

I have booked flexible tickets, when I requested to change them they send my request to "another" department requesting be to wait for their call.
After one month nobody has call me back. I have called them more than 15 times mentioning that I need to have my new tickets in order to extent my visa but nobody cares. The only reply is "we will call you". Although I have requested to speak to supervisor, they endured me that supervisor will call me but again nothing.
They're practically thieves. My return flight got cancelled. I had to pay another 150$ for rebooking (even though I had a flexible ticket) or pay 60$ for trying to get a refund (not promised). Then I found out that my new booking did not include baggage (the oroginal did) and they wanted another 95$ for it! And a terrible customer service. Stay away!
No customer services whatsoever tried to reach out was held on a phone for 4.5 hrs! Nothing resolved this is god awful company never again!
