This company use the "Safe Gambling"…

This company use the "Safe Gambling" Logo to decide whether you are financially viable by requesting pay slips and P60'S from you to see if you can afford to bet. They are deciding whether you are a responsible person or not. What a disgrace as they are happy to take your money for the last 5 years without any question. I am a responsible person and only gamble with what I can afford but how dare they ask for evidence of my personal finances. Who do they think they are. I won some money from them not long ago and it took them ages to payout...stick to using mainstream companies like Skybet and Bet365. And their website is rubbish as per the previous comments. Steer Clear.

Absolutely crap company and service wen…

Absolutely crap company and service wen play the the footie lines and u check in to wots happening or if u won but all u see is little things going round d and no replies to emails and making up prize pools and if u win it pays crap coz they say a lot of other people have 1 .stay away from this site Ps y so many foreign teams in the pools on a Saturday wen all the uk leagues r playing . All a scam

DISGRACEFUL

I think it’s disgusting how they are making random calls to numbers trying to persuade people to gamble like a charity would do! Imagine if you rang someone fighting a gambling addiction!!!! It’s should NOT be allowed!!!!!!

Too much pressure

Cant believe they conned my vulnerable brother into setting up a direct debit ! Too much pressure put on vulnerable adults. Thank goodness bank happy to cancel and money will be refunded !

Zero customer service

Zero customer service, emails mostly returned as not excepted ones that do get through they don’t respond or answer. Phone calls ether cut you off or go to voicemail, no response from calls, this all has the makings of a scam website, don’t use avoid at all cost. Save your money it beats disappointment.

Useless classic pools site and poor customer care and IT service

Hopeless classic pools site - unreliable. They have stopped loading newspaper plans and stopped displaying points achieved. Non communicative. Had similar issues previously. Emailed them days ago. No response. Been waiting for chat for ages now. Giving up on that just now. I am not doing the classic pools until these issues are fixed.

Direct Debit warning

Beware:- After a touch of nostalgia decided to have a go on the pools, after adding £10, put what I thought was one line, it chose automatically 10 at £1 each all with the same number, and staggered over a few weeks, spent ages renumburing them.
Recived a letter saying '' We will take £10 a month out of your account unless you call a number''. That flashed a RED Warning. No way would I set up a direct debit with a gambling site and will now delete my account once ive made sure they will not knick money off me.

Avoid, too much hassle!

Such a pedantic company. I completed my registration for them to then request further information from me. Fair enough. Send my provisional and a utility bill only for them to get back to me saying a provisional licence isn’t an acceptable form of identification and that it needs to be a full licence, er what? Discrimination much? That same provisional seemed good enough to open banks accounts, get into venues etc. Never heard the likes, weird company. Judging by all the other reviews on here I seem to have had a lucky escape anyway! Avoid!

Recently tried to sign up

Recently tried to sign up. I want to support the Pools because I believe it's still support football in this country three times I've contacted you and not one reply what an absolute shambles . The website looks out-of-date and is hard to use. And I'm trusting you with my money doesn't look very good from here. The first thing I would like to know before I continue with anything is why you have not contacted me and what the reasons are.

Awful company got worse

Omg you put complaints in and reviews and they suspend your account.
I've been with them years and they now moan I want to deposit £20 for Aintree and say I need bank statements p60 and every other ID I have ( it's a very long list )
I've played the pools for over 30 years and now they are being so damn awkward . Customer service will just say contact us to show other people they are on top of things. Trust me they lie.
Disgusting customer service treatment.

AND THE RESPONSE SAYS CONTACT OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. UNBELIEVABLE. SHOWS THEY DONT READ REVIEWS

For months I been trying to log on

For months I been trying to log on, then sometimes the re set works but only for that day then it stops working again and I have to re set my password again. After contacting them by chat they give me the same instructions as resetting so I try it again after they send me an email link. Then they cut me off and I am told this "We're unable to change your existing Football Pools password at this time, please try later" what's the point in being a customer anymore, what happened to telephones and competitions by paper? Computers are just unreliable and its time people stopped trusting them.

A site full of issues

A site full of issues, it takes so long to place a bet on match betting, literally the process is bizarre it takes around a minute or more to place a bet and when the oddschange in that minute you are given the lower odds, its a disgrace
Also they have upgraded the site and now my balance and bonus have disappeared, they are trying to force me to sync up my account with the pools.com yet i cant because my account was closed, it really is so pathetic

Signed up yesterday and used the £3.00…

Signed up yesterday and used the £3.00 for 20p spins, hit the free spins and won £16 then started betting on football. Withdrew £30 and was in my account today (Sunday). I personally enjoy the the site/app. I'd definitely use again.

Another Company let down by Poor Customer Support

A company employing some of the most laziest and clueless support staff I've encountered so far. I had issues adding funds to my account due to some Paypal processing error that could only be resovled by Football Pools support. However, they refused to deal with it and keep fobbing off by saying it was a PayPal problem. This was all rubbish, of course, and even got confirmation from PayPal support that Football Pools was talking nonsense. The Football Pools support came up with one stupid reason after another as to why it wasn't their responsibility. Now they're not even responding to my emails, although they keep spamming my email inbox with crappy offers! From now on , I'll stick to traditional bookmakers and betting exchanges.

Avoid

After joining on a trial took all the sms, email, spam, contact options off but still received several paper based mail reminders to subscribe despite having cancelled.

Had to call up numerous times to get it stopped.

Very angry and disappointed

Very angry and disappointed
I had a win on lightning roulette on the 24th of September, placing £25 on 0 and Won, I won over £700 was very happy I decided to withdraw my winnings as I do all the time on the pools, £700 also £50. Yesterday 30th October I tried to withdraw some money from my account and found my account to be overdrawn by £500 and couldn’t get any money, I went home checked online banking and the pools without any contact with myself had taken this money out of my account, two transactions £700 -£50 surely this shouldn’t be allowed. Very disappointed nobody has contacted myself. I’m still waiting for an explanation from the pools and hopefully get my winnings I won to be put back into my account.

Excellent customer service

Had a problem with free spins. They not only sorted it but gave me a £5 bonus. Had similar problem with BetFred who were rude and refused to do anything. Guess which company I am using from now on

Slower than a week in jail!

This site is terrible, outdated and crashes constantly.you get next to nothing for outstanding predictions! Out of 49 games there were only 11 score draws i had 6 thinking i had done well.you wait about a week for them to confirm the dividend and bugger all.if i had 6 score draws at a real bookies i could book a holiday!

My advice if you want to have a chance of a win stick with a proper book makers!!
