Terrible company; do not use. My insurance was canceled by Farmers Insurance for my vehicle—they are the company that insures boats and the like for Farmers. I had insurance on my boat for merely 15 days, and they would only refund me $68 of the $168 premium. In the fine print, they can charge a minimum of $100. Farmers was aware I was being canceled and never warned me prior to me paying for this insurance. I will never use this company or Farmers again; this practice should be considered illegal. It's greedy and unbelievable how they conduct business. Insurance is the biggest scam. I'm with another company now, and the same coverage is only $34 for the year! The government needs to investigate these deceptive practices.

If you make a claim, they will drop you. They just want to take your money. We paid over $300,000 in premiums and made a claim for $48,000, and they dropped us. If you enjoy giving your money away, then this is the company for you.

Funny how my policy keeps going up and up. I literally got the exact same policy for $1,600 a year cheaper through another company. When I tell this to the agent, he has absolutely nothing to say for himself or the outrageously priced policy! Total silence is what I got! Why is it that no one can just be honest anymore? That is literally price gouging! I will never go back to that agent as he was a total jerk, and yes, I will absolutely tell everyone! Foremost has outrageously priced policy rates, and by the way, I don't file claims, so that is not an issue. I have good credit, so that's another non-issue. Your excuses for raising my rate to $300 a month for a $186,253 policy on a manufactured home are complete nonsense! Goodbye, Foremost, and good riddance! I would give you 0 stars if I could! Your agents need to start getting honest and telling the truth. You thought you could take advantage and got caught! Let's just say the truth!

I cannot possibly convey how fantastic Foremost has been for me. I bought a new policy in February and was in an accident in March. My bike was not damaged too terribly, but the repairs were not cheap. I suffered a broken femur, had surgery, and spent 4 days in the hospital. I had full coverage and the accident was not my fault.
Foremost responded immediately by reimbursing me for my riding pants and the damage to my bike. They didn't hesitate to take care of me even though the damages far outweighed the cost of the policy. I haven't dealt with the medical bills yet; however, I have great health insurance, so I'm good regardless.
This situation has been a real bummer for me, but Foremost has stepped up to make everything they can as easy and painless as possible, and I could not be more thankful.
I will forever be a loyal customer.

There should be a rating option of -⭐️ (Negative or minus 1 star). When my home was damaged in a storm I called them & was told ON A RECORDED LINE that I was not covered for the damages I called to report. They straight out lied to me(!) as I later discovered. They based their statement (lie) on a technicality that made it seem true to anyone not familiar with inclusions and exclusions of the technicalities of insurance contracts. I was devastated. I believed their lie. Elderly, on my own, no savings & a job that just paid the bills, I was unable to pay for repairs. I contacted FEMA & was denied “because I have homeowner’s insurance!” As I read & re-read my policy, I began to suspect that the damages to my home should be covered (technically). I continued to request a copy of the recorded conversation telling me I wasn’t covered. I was denied, as they contended they were not required to avail it to me. I eventually tried to find a lawyer that would represent me in a lawsuit & was unsuccessful. I even called the State of Florida Insurance something-or-other office & they took the side of Foremost/Farmers. I was led to believe that finding a lawyer to represent me against my insurance company was next to impossible. And I couldn’t even find representation to help me secure a copy of the recorded conversation that would reveal their lie that would prove fraudulent practice on their part. Whether on a rather small scale, doesn’t that even fall under Federal Wire Fraud(?) … only instead of the “people” defrauding the Ins Co, this is the Ins Co defrauding their client…their PAYING client…& withholding the very evidence of their guilt. EVIDENCE. During a span of several years in recent times, people were defrauding their home owners ins companies left & right, falsely claiming storm damages. I get it. As they fought back, they also fought honest, legitimate claims by the scores until finally, people (& then more & more people) were suing their home owners insurance companies & vice versa. Now it was easy to find a lawyer who would sue home owners ins companies. By then, for me the Statute of Limitations was up! And Foremost/Farmer’s STILL refused to produce the copy of the recorded conversation they had with me telling me my property damages were not covered, as they studied my policy during the conversation. THE STATUTES of LIMITATIONS SHOULD NOT APPLY to INSURANCE COMPANIES who KNOWINGLY & PURPOSELY DEFRAUD their CLIENTS. There should be NO CLOAK provided them “BY” LAW for these EVIL DOERS to do such harm and RIP OFF, STEAL FROM, LIE TO & DENY LEGITIMATE damages claims that their clients PAID FOR & are ENTITLED TO. When LIES are used to intentionally cheat home owners, we should have better laws or clauses of protection for those of us who suffer at the hands of the companies we pay to protect our property. I told the Ins Adjuster to his face that the only reason he won’t make the recorded conversation available is that he knows it is proof that they denied me coverage on damages that they were liable to cover. HE DID NOT DENY IT !!

This company lost my business. Their online system for registering automatic payments did not process my application for auto pay, and therefore my payments were not drafted. As a result, they canceled my policy and would not reinstate me. I am now with a much better insurance company whose website does not function like a 10th-grade project. I am paying a much better rate for much more coverage. Do yourself a favor and sign up with another company that values your business.

Surprised by the cancellation fee of $55; I never knew there was a cancellation fee. It feels like an insurance scam. It was Farmer's Insurance, which somehow became Foremost. As soon as I changed insurance, I got charged a $55 cancellation fee.

We called yesterday at 3:30 p.m. We dealt with Foremost and waited until 5 p.m. when we were not called back by the tow company. Foremost said the contractor was half an hour out. We were finally told at 8 p.m. that it would cost us $2,500 to have our RV winched. We canceled and called the next morning, only to be given the runaround. We ended up calling a private tow company, and it ended up costing us $430. We have paid these premiums for 12 years and never once used them. We will be canceling our policy. Do not use this company. Horrible customer service. When we called back Foremost, they couldn't even find our record after they said the tow company was on its way. We had to tell them what time we had originally called. Terrible customer service.

In 2021, I contacted USAA/FOREMOST insurance company to inquire about coverage for a roofing contractor dispute and filed a claim. The adjuster denied the claim, stating it was caused by the contractor. I understood the decision. Consequently, I reported the contractor to The ROC and won the case. The contractor then repaired the leaks. Now, three years later, on January 20th, 2024, a wind and hail storm caused further leaks, a broken window, and additional exterior building damage. FOREMOST dispatched a company to mitigate the interior damage, and they set up their fans and dehumidifiers to remove moisture from the walls. The following day, Javier and Daniel from Farmers denied the claim, claiming it was the same damage from three years prior. Javier accused me of being untruthful and also stated that he disregarded my combat disability as it was irrelevant to the claim. I advise against using this company, and it's disappointing that USAA collaborates with FOREMOST or any other such company. Furthermore, my experience with Farmers Insurance was also unsatisfactory, as I felt they were discriminatory. I have recordings should anyone wish to listen.

Foremost has stolen $93 from me when I canceled my policy. They took money each month for my insurance, and when I canceled, they sent a check for what was left of that month that I can't cash. When I called them, they were rude and said they wouldn't help me clear up their mistake.

Bad business practice. No notification was given before canceling our policy; however, they did notify our mortgage company, which informed us after the policy was canceled. We did not receive a notice from our agent either. We have three cars covered with their parent company, which we will be moving to another company because of this. They should have sent the cancellation certified to ensure that people who have been with them for over 14 years received it. I will never recommend them or the parent company ever again.
