FIFA 20 WEB APP NOW LIVE

Click the link for the FIFA 20 Web App Login URL.

Once you arrive on the Web App you'll be able to log in and begin your FIFA 20 journey.

It's worth noting that when you click on the ‘getting started’ link, you'll be redirected to the FIFA website which has more details on what you can do with the Web App.

This includes the following three key pillars:

Club Management - From signing your next star player on the Transfer Market, to tweaking your tactical set up and changing your club’s look with new customisation options, get your squad ready for the next big match while on the go with the FUT Web App.

Squad Building Challenges - Exchange spare players in your club into unique squads to unlock new players, packs, or club items with Squad Building Challenges (SBCs). All-new SBC Player Protection means that you’ll never accidentally submit your star player again.

Get Rewarded - Claim rewards for your progress in Weekend League, Division Rivals and Squad Battles without having to log into your console, and redeem FUT Champions Points directly from the App to ensure you never miss out on your entry into the Weekend League.

If you instead click login you'll have the opportunity to sign in, however, do note not everyone has access to the Web App right away.

For the time being make sure you get the FUT 20 Companion App downloaded ahead of time. Currently, it's still the FIFA 19 Companion app, but an update for it should be rolling out in the next 24 hours.

Stay tuned for more details, shortly.

FIFA 20 WEB APP - UPDATE ONE:

Daily Express reports that we could see the launch of the FIFA 20 Web App at 6pm BST.

This is based on the fact that when EA sports confirmed the FIFA 20 TOTW 1 squad, they stated that the squad would be available at 6pm UK Time.

This is normally when EA Sports release new squads. However, we have some reservations about the Web App launch.

We've no doubt that it's coming today, but suggestions earlier in the day from EA Andy, the EA Community Manager, had hinted at a later launch telling users:

"I know you're excited about the Web App Launch today. Lets try and keep threads to a minimum about asking when it will be out - we haven't released a time and no-one on the forum has further info on this. Feel free to use this thread to discuss it. I'd go ahead and enjoy your day, save those F5 keys - you'll need them again at some point"

We personally believe the launch might be closer to 7pm BST or later. That said, we imagine that the servers will also be packed and the site could struggle to load.

Stay tuned for more details soon.

ORIGINAL STORY - The FIFA 20 Web App is dropping later today and it's going to kickstart the year ahead for EA Sports new release that's sure to dominate the charts for the foreseeable.

The majority of players will be jumping into FIFA 20 next week with the release of the games standard edition, but some, can (and will) jump in much sooner.

Champions & Ultimate Edition buyers will get their hands on the game on September 24th and those with a subscription to EA Access can even trial the game (but only for a maximum of 10 hours).

There's even the release of the games first FIFA 20 TOTW squad following a whirlwind week of fixtures after the international break.

If you're not one of the lucky few who'll be playing early, today is still incredibly important because as we mentioned to begin with, today is the launch of the FIFA 20 web app.

This companion website (and downloadable app) allows the games huge FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) fanbase to get a head start on the in-game transfer market.

FIFA 20 will be no different. EA Sports have already taken down the FIFA 19 Web App and begun preparations for the new app to release later today.

Keep reading for everything you need to know, including when it will be released, how to access it and plenty more.

WHEN IS THE FIFA 19 WEB APP RELEASE DATE?

EA Sports has confirmed on their website that the FIFA 20 Web App will be available today, Wednesday, 18 September.

However, there are no official times for precisely what hour of the day the Web App will become fully operational.

Going off recent FIFA releases we expect that it will be available slightly later in the day, with a Web App start time around 6PM - 7PM.

Chances are there will also be a huge surge in players attempting to use it at once, so don't expect the rollout to be smooth sailing.

Last year, for instance, an overwhelming number of players crashed the system and EA Sports needed to perform maintenance on the site.

When it's live, you'll be able to access the FIFA 19 Web App on this url. Although, do note that the link is currently redirecting to the main FIFA website for the time being.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I CAN USE THE WEB APP?

The FIFA 20 Web App, otherwise known to some players as 'FUT Webstart' is only available for returning players.

So if this is your first time playing FIFA, you might be left disappointed.

First of all, you'll need to have played last year's game a certain number of times (10 FUT Matches) in order to get a head start on opening FUT rewards.

You'll also need to ensure you have created a security question and answer before August 1st 2019 in order to use it.

fifauteam.com have created some handy criteria to help you work out if you're allowed early access:

1 You must have created a FUT Club before August 1, 2019, to get early access to the FUT 19 Web and Companion apps.
2 Your FUT 19 account must still exist.
3 Your account needs to be in good standing.
4. If you were banned or had other actions taken on your account in FUT 19, you won’t get early access.

So that's what you need to do in order to gain access. The only other stipulation is that your access and rewards are tied to your previous console.

This means that if you were playing on Xbox last year, but want to play on PS4 this year, you won't be able to get early access. You must also have played FIFA 19 before the 1st August on the same account that you want to have access for the FIFA 20 web app.

WHEN IS THE FIFA 20 COMPANION APP RELEASE DATE?

Following the release of the FIFA 20 Web App, EA Sports will likely launch a new FIFA 20 Companion App update for iOS and Android devices a day later.

It may be worth downloading the existing FIFA 19 Companion app beforehand, because according to FUThead.com you may gain access quicker.

"In the past, the update for those apps came to those with it preinstalled slightly before it came to the general app stores."
