REFUND ME PLEASE

I payed £3 for a single CV and they have charged me £16.95 a month later with no warning????? It was not at all clear that i was going to be charged. Ironically, i still dont have a job dispite my "perfect CV" and am struggling to pay my bills. Interesting how a site used to help you find a job is happy to reap your pockets with no warning.

Why do sites like this advertise as "free", let you waste time completing a CV, then try to charge?
Untrustworthy, I wouldn't leave my card details with such a company.

RIP OFF

I used this for one cv - one day, somehow sneakily they signed me up for a subscription, tried ringing them and the cheek tried to sell me more items.
Really unprofessional and be very careful - its in the very small print

Excellent At Dealing With Customer Queries

**EDIT: MyPerfectCV kindly refunded the £16.95 charge as a goodwill gesture, much appreciated, thank you!

I initially signed up at a cost of £2.95, got a job soon after and cancelled the 14 day trial, so far so good, a few months ago that job ended and I logged on to the website to update my CV and they took £16.95 from my account!! according to their own web link this is supposed to be a 'FREE' CV maker, see below the EXACT link heading:

"CV Maker: CV Builder Free and Online | myPerfectCV"

i'm really disappointed, I had no issue paying the £2.95 as I appreciate a business has to have money to operate but £16.95 to update my CV with my latest job position is a disgrace, I was impressed first time around but have now become sickened by the whole process, my account ID is 171090338

I cancelled my subscription today and if not refunded this extortionate fee I will not return

Request for Refund of Unauthorized Charges

My initial purchase was for a one-time fee of 3 euro for 1 cv!! Unfortunately, this month I have discovered that my account has been charged ""€25/month"" without my explicit consent or any notification from your side!!!!! This has accumulated to a total of ""€250"", which is 84 times the amount I initially agreed to pay. It is important to note that I have not used your services beyond the first week of my initial purchase!!!

I did not authorize these additional monthly charges and I was not aware of any subscription agreement that warranted these repeat billings. The total amount charged over these months is significantly more than what I had agreed to pay!!!

Please review my account transactions and initiate a full refund for the amounts charged beyond the initial agreed-upon fee.

Should the charges be refunded, I would be willing to reconsider and revise my public feedback regarding this experience.

Beautiful CV template.

Beautiful CV template.
Very easy to use.
Lots of prompts to help with your Job description etc.
I did get caught out on the subscription, however, when i called the company they were extremely helpful and refunded my money. But I can highly recommend them for your CV.

They 29$ without reason

I pay 0.99$ to download a CV, but then they charge me $29 without authorization. I didn't subscribe to the page, I only pay to download a CV. please refund this. It looks like scam.

Useful tool for upgrading format of CV - I found it user friendly and straightforward to use. My subscription was cancelled without hassle and customer service staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend.

AVOID IF LOOKING FOR A FREE SERVICE

AVOID IF LOOKING FOR A FREE SERVICE - FALSE ADVERTISING

Absolute waste of an hour of my time this morning attempting to use their 'Free' CV editor and downloader. Cannot believe I got all the way through and was asked for payment at the end. Absolutely fuming that you have wasted my time

Edit in response to MPCV - I googled “free cv” and your website appeared first. When I clicked on it and scrolled down, it says in crystal clear text “our free CV editor….” And even mentions “will let you download as PDF, Word etc…” so yes, apologies are needed because you are falsely advertising your services. Very unimpressed

Trying to locate my old CV to download…

Trying to locate my old CV to download it again which i had paid for in previous months. But they will not let me download my CV unless i pay another £16.95. That's a disgrace. I have already paid for this CV. Then i did not want to continue paying every month so why would i want to pay again for a CV which i have already paid for?

Also when i try to download my already paid for CV your website keeps directing me to the pay now page.

I have already paid for my CV as i have already stated above. I think my download should be free and if i loss my CV i should be able to come back and download it from your site at any time for free.

This 1 star review is for the experience i have received and the fact that you want to charge me again for something i have already paid for.

I bought one CV and they started…

I bought one CV and they started charging me monthly. Tried to cancell it, my emial adress is not recognised. I feel the service is set up to misslead people and take money for nothing. Not sure what they charged me for. I can not access anything. I cancelled the payments with the bank today and send them email as none picks up the phone. It looks like a scam to me.My account dose not exist amd they charge me money. I should have read previous reviews.
