To help diagnose what's keeping you from accessing Yahoo, try these strategies.

1. Check the status of Yahoo Mail. Nobody can sign in anywhere if it's down, and someone likely reported it to a site such as Is It Down Right Now. Likewise, check or contact @YahooMail on X (formerly Twitter) to see if anyone else reported a problem. If Yahoo Mail is down, wait and check back until the status changes.

2. Check that Caps Lock isn't on. Yahoo passwords are case-sensitive, so if Caps Lock is on, whatever you type won't work. If it was on, turn it off and log in again.
