I would give NO STARS but I can't. DO not do business with Brainly. I have an account but the free version and yet I keep getting charged a yearly renewal fee. I can't cancel because I dont have the subscription account. I went back and forth to customer service last year and I thought it was taken care of but yet again, I was just charged. I had to cancel my debit card JUST to get rid of the renewal fee for next year. I think they do it on purpose considering the amount of complaints that I have read and the complaints on the Better Business Bureau website.

My school falsely accused me for academic misconduct as some posted similar exam questions on their site have been asking thier suppost team and legal team for help no one ever replies and i dont even have an account with them best part thanks to them being useless and not responsive i have to repeat the module and delay my graduation for a year!! Hope you are proud working in such organization where you ruin other students life. You need to fix this and bring Justice!! Take responsibility on what are posted on your site!! Do note this happen since October 2024 its already April 2025 no one bother to reply the email with useful information!!!!

The Website keeps asking for me to log in to see question answers. At this point, it is very annoying to keep playing ads again and again to view a single answer. Most of the time, the ad itself does not load and the loading screen is stuck. Even if I do log in, there is another limit to how many answers I can view for the day. The Website used to be very useful and practical, but now its just another website wanting your information; to the point where it obstructs the entire purpose of the website.

Brainly trials are only available to first-time users. When you try to reaccess the trial, after putting in the payment details, you are informed that you’ll start a paid subscription without a trial if you continue with this payment method.

If you choose to continue, you’re redirected to the billing screen and asked to put in your payment details again. You are also informed about the total amount that will be charged for the subscription.

Your card was charged, as our system recognized you already had a free trial in the past. The trial could have been associated with a different Brainly account.

The subscription on account jnsrk*** has already been canceled. It will remain active until the end of the plan, but it will not auto-renew.

Beware of this site!! They will ruin your life!!!

They don’t REFUND your money

So I got this app to help with my nephew with his home work last year… I’m trying to log in on my fb to cancel it. And it charges me 39 dollars when I don’t have a kid that needs it now. He graduated… and they refuse to REFUND me my money. Are yall really that hard up for money? Cuz yalls app gives wrong answers still for 39 bucks!! I wouldn’t use this app. I would use mathway or some thing else. At least mathway makes it easy for you to cancel your subscription. Y’all are crooks!! Taking people’s money like that, the way the economy is!!! And there is no customer service number!!!

Useless Website

Most of the expert answers seem AI-generated, and the replies to these reviews seem automated. Some replies talk about how they don't offer refunds when the original review did not talk about refunds.

Cool features! But some HUGE problems...

I really like the "ask a question" feature and how it organises my exam prep BUT I absolutely hate the ads that block up almost 50% of my screen,and I think this website is a complete scam
You see,I was doing one of my assignments and all of sudden when I try to check the time,IT WAS WRONG + my computer literally froze.
But that was not because the time was wrong itself,but because MY COMPUTER WAS NOT WORKING and it had (or might have had a VIRUS)
I checked everything that may have caused it but there was nothing,only one thing (becuase I was trying it out for the first time)
BRAINLY!!!
I think it was that extension that I added to chrome...
Also reading the other reviews made me think twice about purchasing Brainly Plus
JUST TO GET RID OF THOSE ADS!!
(thanks for reading the review! im not really good at structuring one but yeah this is pretty much all I have to say right now...)

I have canceled this subscription once…

I have canceled this subscription once and here I am a year later being charged again. No one in my house has a Brainly subscription! Do not give this company your Credit Card info. They are thieves.

Brainly subscriptions are recurring, which means they renew periodically until canceled. When the subscription is about to renew, we send two emails to inform our users that the payment will be processed automatically if the subscription is not canceled, and to remind them that we do not provide refunds.

We went ahead and canceled the subscription on account audrey29*****. It means that the subscription will remain active until 02/14/2026, but you will not be charged again.

Don't pay for this, it is useless and unhelpful.

Brainly completely restricts access to a LOT of answers, forcing you to sign up for a subscription that I will not be using in the oncoming years. Yes, I have been able to get answers, and verify that I'm correct, or see what I messed up on, but that doesn't fix the underlying issue of refusing customers basic features, just because they didn't pay. I had to sign up and make an account to," get access to all answers", but then it lied, and now is trying to make me subscribe for 'all answers". False advertisement? Probably.

Update: What a load of bull. You are allowed one answer per day for free. ONE. That is not fair, in any regards. If you wanna glorify your company, at least be truthful about it, instead of giving a very vague, and pathetic response. How about, instead of dangling a carrot over our heads, you actually live up to being an educational website, and put money in the back of your heads. You will survive, I promise.

Do not even consider using this app, they lure you into making an account, and then you can simply not see the answer, unless you buy their paid plan, 7 days free tho, but still useless, garbage, dirty, filthy company:)

Another user completely disheartened by…

Another user completely disheartened by how they handled my cancellation— Essentially charging Me for an additional year after canceling at the year prior. Bad customer service, impossible to reach anybody, everything that everybody else is staying here. I agree that good can only come from staying far away from Brainly.

No way to cancel subscription

I have attempted to cancel my subscription numerous times and yet I continue to get charged monthly with no response to my e-mails. It has been over 6 months. It is pathetic that I have to put a stop payment through my bank. You have no customer service number, don't respond to e-mails, and obviously ignore attempts to cancel subscriptions. I used to recommend your app to others; now I feel bad for doing so.

Just sickening!

I was charged for a yearly subscription…

I was charged for a yearly subscription without previous notice. I opted out for a free trial and 7 days later they charged my card. They claim they have sent me a reminder, which I never received. They refused my request for a refund and I am furious! I will never recommend this website to anyone!!!

Do not do business with this company

Please don't do business with this company. I have tried canceling the "auto renewal that I didn't authorize for 6 months." I completed the form, and it will not accept it because it is not working. There is no telephone number for support. Teri Lawrence

I reported by email to Brainly at contact@brainly as they asked. I provided all of the information, but when I went to submit the request, the error message was, "We're sorry, we can't submit your request at this time." I reported to PayPal to cancel my payment and reported to my bank that the invoices were fraudulent. Notice the response indicates they have no phone contact. That is something I have never heard of from other businesses. There is more than one way to stop fraudsters. Teri Lawrence

Terrible site

Terrible site. Had an account on one of my other emails, paid for a subscription and when I went to cancle it didn't give me any helpful answers, it declined to cancel for another two months. Customer services is sh*t, and every time I tried to seek help, I was sent this "Unfortunately, we could not locate your email communication with this review using only your name. Don't use this service. They still charged me while I unsubscribed in time.

I tried the free period just to test their services. It was not even close to what I needed. I just want to better my skills and use a useful AI platform that can do this. Brainly wasn't it for me. The AI just gives me useless questions that aren't even logical. And after I unsubscribed and left they still charged me for a subscription because my account was still on their platform. I send an email to them but I think they will not even give back money when I read the reviews on here. This is an absolutely horrible platform and organization.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. This company is the worst company ever. There was an account setup under my PayPal account and charged a subscription fee. Which I was not aware of until I noticed my account was charged. I reached out to this company via email, SEVERAL times and explained that this was done fraudulently and asked that they refund the stolen money, which they REFUSED to do. They rather have stolen money than to help out someone who didn’t authorize this issue.
