Shoppers who frequent Gap or any of its sister stores can benefit from getting a Gap credit card. Not only do you get extra time to pay for purchases, but you can also reap rewards by using the Gap Good Rewards card or Gap Good Rewards Mastercard issued by Barclays.
You can use your Gap credit card at Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta and the branded outlet stores. Gap Mastercards are accepted at any store that accepts payments from Mastercard.

After you make your purchases, you’ll need to make the required payments by the due date to keep your account in good standing. You can make a Gap credit card payment online, through the mail or by phone. Unfortunately, stores do not accept payments for Gap credit cards at this time. Here’s more on your payment options.
How To Make a Gap Credit Card Payment Online
To make a payment online for a Gap credit card issued by Barclays, you’ll need to register your account on its website. Here’s how:
- Go to the login page for Gap credit cards issued by Barclays.
- Click “Set up online account.”
- Enter the last four digits of your Social Security number, your account number and your current occupation to verify your identity.
- Click “Continue” and follow the prompts to register your account.
Once you have registered your account, you can make a payment online by entering your username and password on the login page, then following the prompts to make your payment.
How To Make a Gap Credit Card Payment by Mail
You also have the option to mail in your Gap credit card payment. Write a check or money order for at least the minimum payment due. Include the payment with the payment coupon from your billing statement, or note the account number on the check.
Regardless of which Gap card you have — the Gap Good Rewards card or Gap Good Rewards Mastercard — you can mail your payment to either of the following addresses.

How To Make a Gap Credit Card Payment by Phone
Gap also allows you to make credit card payments over the phone. To pay by phone, gather your credit card number, bank account number and bank routing number.
If your card was issued by Barclays, you can call 866-383-5315 to make a payment. Be aware that there may be a fee to make a payment through a customer service representative.
Late Fees for Gap Cards
If you fail to make your Gap credit card payment on time, you’ll be charged a late fee. For cards issued by Barclays, the late fee is up to $41.
