I prefer LUOA over both public and private schools. The curriculum prepared me well for the SAT (I got a 1520 as a freshman). Most of the negative reviews here are from students with no work ethic or accountability. The canvas platform it uses has a list of the daily grades and assignments due, so it keeps you on track. Teachers normally don't reach out to individual students, they promptly respond to emails that students/parents send. As for any tech or lesson issues, there is an IT hotline and a teacher hotline for immediate issues or questions. The curriculum is amazing - students can go their own pace through lessons and have resources available. I would HIGHLY recommend doing enhanced courses, which require lives because it helps students build personal relationships with teachers; for instance, they might be more compassionate or lenient. The variety of teachers and lessons also is very similar to college courses, where every teacher and/or class has different grading or rules.
My studies at Liberty University Online Academy has been a wonderful opportunity for me to have advanced education and Christian affirmation within my studies. The school offers a wife variety of classes and I have met people from all over the world who also are studying at liberty University. Being a student here has allowed me to have much flexibility with my hockey career. There are plenty of ways to become involved at the school and form a strong community. My family has been fully supportive of my online education. My studies have been rigorous and all advanced classes. I have enjoyed starting each day in prayer and being in a Christlike atmosphere.
I strongly encourage anyone who is seeking flexibility and a Christian leader ship education to join liberty university online Academy, and excel just like I have.

For the 3 years spent at Liberty University Online Academy, I found the experience to be deeply enriching. This establishment truly prepared me for the tumultuous college experience. Furthermore, the teachers and advisors were the best part of my academic journey. I would like to change or rather, expand methods of contacting teachers. Overall, my experience was positive and I recommend this school to anyone who exhibits great discipline.
