If you are getting "No preview available" message on an assignment, ensure you are accessing the assignment from the "Modules" section of the course, not the "Grades" section.

Login issues?

Contact canvas@puhsd.k12.ca.us or call 530.886.4440

If you are getting a "500" error, sign out of all Google accounts on your device. Sign in with the Student or Staff Login Link with your district account (@puhsd.k12.ca.us). Using the appropriate Login Link is very important and is different for students, teachers and staff.

If you have never signed into Canvas and you received an invite to a course via email, these invite links in the email default to the wrong Login Link and you will get a "500" error. To fix this, open an incognito window, go to the proper Login Link, and sign in. This will initialize your account in Canvas, and then you can accept the course invite.

If you are having other Canvas issues, please touch base with your teacher. If your teacher is unsure or unable to assist, you can use the built-in Canvas help area. If you believe you are having other technology issues outside of Canvas, please reach out to the local Site Systems Administrator.

Canvas also has a very active teacher and user community that has tutorials, guides, strategies, forums and other users looking for help.

Know that support for Canvas that is not on a district Chromebook or device is limited. Using a personal device introduces many variables that cannot always be accounted for; best effort will be made to troubleshoot with you if you're using a personal device. Many settings are pushed out on district Chromebooks and devices that help provide an easier and more seamless use of Canvas.
