I love that I get notifications! Especially as they are the animal/breed that I specifically am looking for.. Its a massive decision deciding which pet would be right for us.. I know now that I don't need to make any rash decisions as there are so many breeders I have access to. All thanks to you guys..

Plenty of updates on new adverts which is great, but the prices are off the clock, I realise that its the sellers that donate the prices & nothing to do with Pets4homes, not everyone is looking for a champion.

Great information about breeds, pet insurance etc. Gives information about the breeders/sellers. Its a great site to use to rehome pets before they end up in shelters.

After a few weeks of looking and some bad experiences with scammers on Social Media, I got my puppy off Pets4Homes on 06.04.2024. He's a six month old Doberman with an amazing temperament. Thank you.

Do not buy a pet through these people. They could not careless about animal welfare. I got a puppy 4 weeks ago and have spent over £300 in vets bills due to various illnesses including a severe ear infection and Giardia. The poor animal was so sick with diarrhea (with blood) and vomiting.
I wrote to Pets4homes to explain the situation and they have told me it’s not really serious enough.
They’re only interested in making money. I’m reporting them to animal welfare.

Gave Pets4homes the deposit money and the rest of the payment to be handed to seller when I collected pup. Plus the £75 they charge. Went to pick pup up today. Drove over 50 miles there. When I clicked the button to send payment I just kept getting an error message had to leave pup there as the payment won’t go through. So drove the 50 miles back without her. Have emailed them as no phone number on site. Now will just wait and see if they can sort it out. I am so mad I used them to pay. I should be cuddling my new puppy now.

Paid for a cat over £1300 which turned out unavailable. The seller tried to sell really hard and offered to breed a similar kitten, just needed me to wait for a month to confirm the pregnancy. After some thought, I accepted the suggestion.
The seller didn't contact me after. However, upon following up 2 months later, the seller only said the cat mum was still not pregnant and was 'working on it'! Wow, ok, I then asked for a refund, who was reluctant and introduced me to other of his cats. Yet, I was not interested in any of those.
As I paid though Pets payment, which on the website, it claims that if the buyer never receives a pet, they'll issue a full refund. So I contacted the platform for a full refund. Jokingly, the platform says they're unable to do so, as the deposit was sent to the seller. The staff also urged me to officially write to them to 'cancel' the transaction, so they can refund me partially excluding the deposit.
This is shocking - we paid more using their Pets payment for extra protection and pet4homes doesn't even honour their words! I'm unsure if it's even against trading standards, and it's a total scam.
By law, I'm obliged for a full refund, as I paid and received nothing. Currently, Pets4homes has stopped repling to me (2 weeks since I first emailed them), and since they don't honour their promise and never responded to my email, I'd now have to dispute through credit card, and if necessary, I'll also go through legal route to obtain full refund through small claim court.
In overall, I'm very shocked about pets4homes operaion, as I never experienced a company who'd just ignore my emails. Also, I still can't believe they literally just lie about their protection and guarantees!
