I received a Notice of Toll Violation that I would like to dispute it. What should I do?
On the back side of the Notice of Toll Violation complete the appropriate dispute section that best describes your appeal of the violation and mail the completed form to the address listed on the Toll Evasion Notice. The Customer Service Center will review your dispute and respond back in writing with a decision.
Section A – Certification of Non-Liability is used if the vehicle was sold, stolen, leased/rented or if license plate was surrendered. Proper documentation is required. Do Not Include Payment.
Section B – Certification of Inadvertent Toll Violation is used if you accidentally went through an E-ZPass only lane. A detailed explanation is required. To be considered for a dismissal of the violation the toll fare listed on the front of the notice must be sent with the dispute. A claim of Inadvertent Toll Violation can only be made one time against one notice.
Section C – Certification of E-ZPass Customer is used if you have an E-ZPass account which is in good standing at the time of the violation transaction.
