Steps
Using the Telegram Desktop App

Open the Telegram app. It's in the Applications folder (macOS) or in the menu (Windows)
- If you don’t have the app, download it free from https://desktop.telegram.org/.

Click Start Messaging. It’s the blue button at the bottom of the window.

Type your phone number into the space. The area and/or country code should already be filled in.
- You must input the phone number you used to set up Telegram on your mobile phone.

Click Next. Telegram will send you an SMS message that contains a 5-digit code.

Enter the code from the SMS message. It may take several minutes for the message to arrive.

Click Next. You are now signed in to Telegram.Advertisement
Using a Web Browser

Go to https://web.telegram.org in a web browser. You can access the web version of Telegram from any web browser, such as Chrome, Safari, or Edge.

Type your mobile phone number. Be sure to use the same phone number you used to set up Telegram on your mobile phone.

Click Next. Telegram will now send a 5-digit confirmation code to the phone number you entered.

Enter the confirmation code you received via SMS message. You may have to wait a few moments for the message to arrive.
