Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever
I have never used it because the discounts are not worth it.
I receive emails so I wanted to unsubscribe from these mails.
I had to log in, go to FAQs (which are out of date), go to settings, emails, unsubscribe took me 10mins to do that. Hoping it worked!!

I’m really disappointed with SD Worx

I’m really disappointed with SD Worx. There is a constant issue with logging in and recovering access to my account. Every time I need to log in, I run into system errors or unnecessary complications that make it extremely frustrating to use the platform.

The password reset and account recovery process is unnecessarily complicated and often doesn’t work properly. Instead of making things easier, it feels like a constant struggle just to access basic information.

I expected a reliable and user-friendly service, but unfortunately SD Worx fails to deliver on this front. I do not recommend it to anyone who values smooth and hassle-free access to their account.

An unsuitable choice for UK/EU payroll

I recently left an organisation that employed SDWorx as a third party and I hope that my review today reaches someone who is on the fence in regards to it. I would strongly urge not to employ them. They seemed like a responsibile group initially but this descended very quickly when payrolls actually went live. There was a lack of accountability for basic and large mistakes and a genuinely startling lack of knowledge in terms of how to properly run a payroll. Don't expect them to come into your company and make things easy as everything needs to be very clearly outlined to them. Examples such as new starters should only be paid from their start date instead of their full month had to be outlined to them. Arrangements that were made during the implementation phase were often forgotten or disregarded or simple not communicated between their agents. They misreported tax and refuse to acknowledge fault in it when caught and had to be escalated. There was baffling additional costs for basic pay elements that would be included in other payroll service but they cited the payments were "for implementation time".

There are one or two good individuals there that did care and occasionally would produce a good job, eg: we had one month of payroll that was actually good and exactly what we asked for. However their rigidity with the process, consistent mistakes and lack of knowledge dampened any sort of good will, particularly when it was my livelihood attached to their service and were it myself making the volume of mistakes they made, I would have been let go. It was unacceptable. They were "receptive" early on to feedback, the actual part of actioning the feedback never came to fruition unfortunately.

I strongly strongly encourage not to use this company. They were truly the worst payroll service and there are other options to go for.

Think twice before choosing SDWorx as supplier

We implemented SD Worx’s payroll, WFM, and HR system, and the experience has been frustrating from day one. Instead of streamlining our processes, the system has caused continuous issues, requiring far more manual intervention than expected. What’s even more frustrating is that SD Worx charges for every single support request, even when the problem is due to bugs or flaws in their own software.

Response times are painfully slow, and getting any kind of resolution takes far longer than it should. The support experience is not what you would expect from a company that markets itself as offering a premium product.

They sold us a vision of efficiency, automation, and reliability—what we got instead was an expensive, inefficient, and unreliable system. Our entire organization regrets trusting their promises, and we would strongly caution others against making the same mistake.

Just an update about this company software and site.
Utter joke, they obviously do not care as you can tell by the generic replies sent to everyone who has complained.
Don't deserve any stars im afraid.

This is hands down the worst peice of…

This is hands down the worst peice of software in existence. I have no idea how this company has paying customers. The software just plain and simple does not work, I am an employee who just wants to view their payslips and I can't even do that. After much difficulty I eventually managed to log into my account to be instantly logged out becuse the security timeout has expired or some nonsene. This is not the only problem, I did managed to get to one payslip eventually and I just get immeditalty logged out again. Its so bad, so so so so so bad. Please do not use this ever for the sake of humanity and all that is good. This software is literally satan incarnate. Please can the company shut down immeditately.

Absolutely terrible and incompetent…

Absolutely terrible and incompetent payroll provider for more reasons than I can list, no one month is ever paid correctly. The system errors, regularly, resulting in over and underpayments - average pay has gone wrong twice in a year, just as one example, resulting in some employee's getting overpayments into the 1000's.

No accountability is ever taken for their mistakes, they take weeks to review and fix anything, with no meaningful communication. Meanwhile our company reputation is shot to pieces because of the errors SDWorx are making. Avoid using this company at all costs.

I was given a traineeship contract for…

I was given a traineeship contract for 6 months at an SD Worx entity (Indian Ocean). However, they trained me for 2 months and started testing me and my colleague who was a trainee as well. They have talked to us individually and put us to tests where they have tried to push forward the other trainee only. They sidelined me. At one time, a senior tested me and recognised that I knew all the answers which she did not even contemplate my grasp on the work procedure. She talked to the teamleader and both made me lose the position in less than 3 months of traineeship. The HR tried to retain the position for me but they did not accept. Do note that showing your efforts and talents may not always work at this company.

Former Good Company

Used to be a great company to work for, but in the last few years, severe lack of employee engagement and communication and when this is challenged in anyway by staff, it's seen as not appropriate, even though the are valid. Despite repeated issues logged on monthly basis, hotfixes done and no permanent solution put in place. Far too much pressure placed on staff to get the job done due to irresponsible selling of the service that we were unable to provide.

Wrong name for 2 years in a row

My company uses this service. They misspelled my name for 2 years in a row, and now I can't access my p60s. I have written several complaints, to no avail. Please do not use this service.

not a good service for international firms

we signed a contract with SD Worx to help us employ a colleague in Belgium. We really regret it. From the moment we signed the contract, our contact person "disappeared" until a person from payroll took over the file a month later. We receive very little explanation as a foreign employer, the platform is not at all user-friendly, access is complicated, invoices come from several SDWorx entities and it's very difficult to know what we're being billed. Customer support is poor. We still receive invoices/messages in Flemish when we had specified that we wanted to communicate in English or German. The contract commits us for three years...what a torment!

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful, dreadful system. Cannot believe any large modern business - in this case, Marks and Spencer - would choose to still use this archaic, useless company. Just look at these other reviews. Cost-cutting incompetence at best and deliberately difficult for your employees at worst. Stress-inducing.

Should rebrand to SDneverworx

Can only assume they are cheap to work with because they’re certainly not good!
This is the third occasion in around a year where my pay slip should be accessible however it’s nowhere to be seen, usually in a manner where the whole website is entirely shut down.
Complete shambles, be better off sending it with a carrier pigeon.

24/10/23. Phone call to RSD @ 1.54pm
Re: asked to relocate the bus group to another hotel on arrival as Pearl Beach Hotel was well below standard.
Recorded call. No return call as promised.

1: room allocated looking over building site, smelt smoke, patio door handle broken, rusty metal fitments in bathroom. Was changed to better room but still faults eg:curtains hanging off rail. Room cleaned only when asked to do so.

2: food buffet not “gourmet”. Warm food turned regularly. Left overs reserved for whole week. Flies and wasps everywhere hence many down with stomach bugs.

3: hotel had closed for season, reopened for RSDq tours, staff disgruntled. In desperate need of refurbishment.

4: whole area closed down scruffy and had to go by bus anywhere that was decent.

5: tour guide not pleasant obviously didn’t want to be there.

6: hard sell at factories which is to be expected. But 2 days wasted on hard sell shopping. Unacceptable.

7: as has already been said in other reviews, not given opportunity to pay for packages on arrival but rather we were forced to pay in advance by guide, again not acceptable.

Will NEVER use RSD in the future. Suggest others not do so either.
