Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) keep asking to login to Office365
Applies to
Microsoft Office products that you have subscribed to with Office365
Issue
You try to edit a file and the the Office program it asks to to login again.
Solutions 1 : Clear Credential Manager entries
Close all opened Office program
Go to the credential manager and look for Office365 related credentials
Remove them all.
Solution 2 : Modify Registry
Open Registry Editor
Go to :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity
Add the following information
Type : DWORD (32 bits) Key : DisableADALatopWAMOverride Value : 1
Log off or restart your computer
Solution 3 : Repair Microsoft Office
Repair Microsoft Office from Add and Remove Programs or the Settings Panel.
