NETFLIX has crashed for a number of users ahead of the Love Is Blind Live Reunion.

Many across the U.S. have reported that they are unable to stream content on Netflix.

Is Netflix down?

On April 16, 2023, Netflix crashed before the premiere of the Love is Blind Live Reunion.

Outage tracking site Downdetector reported that hundreds of viewers were experiencing difficulties while trying to watch the show at 8pm on the night of April 16.

Fans took to Twitter to express their experience with the technical issues.

One user wrote: "Is Netflix down because of #LoveisBlindLIVE?"

Another tweeted: "Trying to watch the love is blind live reunion and netflix goes down. When outages happen I think about the engineers who are on call... When I first started as a developer I had an actual physical beeper that I carried around, this was like 2013 too so it was weird."

Despite the reports, at the time of this publication, the Netflix Help Center website says that the service is running.

It continues: "We are not currently experiencing an interruption to our streaming service."

Three days prior on April 13, many also reported issues with the streaming giant not working across the U.S.

In the U.S., more than 70 percent were having issues with video streaming, while nearly 20 percent reported problems with the app, according to Downdetector.

Some ten percent of users reported that the website was not working correctly.

Reports started trickling in in the early hours on the morning, before spiking around 3am EST.

It had been a while since the streaming giant suffered any technical issues.

But users took to Twitter to discuss the streaming service's connection nonetheless.

One user tweeted: "Is anyone else's #Netflixdown?"

Another person tweeted: "Is it just me or is Netflix down?"

According to Down Detector's map, the outages are prominent in larger cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta.

How can I check if Netflix is not working

Those who may be experiencing difficulties with Netflix can check another social media apps such as Twitter for reports.

If you don't have a Twitter account, Down Detector will tell users when the apps are down or experiencing difficulties.

If it appears the problem may not be widespread, try checking the Internet connection on your device or exiting the app before logging back in.
