Awful

Awful, non-existent customer service. It's often impossible to contact them, and when they do get off their rear ends to respond, it's only via email -- and rudely.

Our experience with Cision PRWeb was…

Our experience with Cision PRWeb was terrible. Despite having had great success with reputable distributors in the past, we decided to try out Cision PRWeb as a new distributor. Unfortunately, they changed some information on our approved press release without informing us. This caused issues when we released it, and their performance in distributing our news was an utter failure. As a result of their poor service, we failed to achieve our desired results for the first time.

PRWeb is utterly horrible

PRWeb is utterly horrible. This is what happens when you have a monopoly. Their editors are the most stupid, incompetent idiots any business would gladly fire. They keep dinging our press release by claiming something idiotic and having us take 100% of the creativity of the press release out.

There is no one to appeal. Just arrogant little jerks who can't get jobs elsewhere. If the CEO Kevin Akeroyd is reading, you need to fire the editors - you lost over $100,000 in potential revenue this year as we would have taken out over 300 press releases with you. Now we're stuck with Businesswire.

Won't allow me to edit the release…

Won't allow me to edit the release after paying $415... I have two options when logged into my account: view releases (no interaction, just click and read) or settings which allows me to type into a useless help bar. You pay the maximum amount for a bare minimum service. Avoid at all costs.

I would not recommend PRWeb

I would not recommend PRWeb. They straight up charged me $300 for a "Premium deal" and I saw no difference in my business or profits at all. I figured it takes time to see results. However, even after giving them about 6 months, they were practically robbing me of my money because absolutely nothing changed.

Terrible Experience

Terrible Experience. I'm all good with providing value add features to push people to upgrade to more expensive plans but PRWeb takes it a whole new level. If you are wanting to pay for the expensive plans then you are likely OK but beware the low end plans.

$389 I paid for a Premium - go viral - PR.

$389 I paid for a Premium - go viral - Press Release.

Result: nothing at all, no visits, no sells, nothing, just a few links in their websites with values 10 and 13 from 100, so just nothing. Hoping my idea was going to be known now I know I have wasted my money efforts and time.

Oh and one more, the only thing I received was from Einpresswire.com because they saw my release and were offering next PR free. Not again.

For the record: the PR was written by a professional.

Stopped service, failed to offer refund

I signed up for PRWeb / Vocus and was using their platform. Not very impressed but was signed up for a year so I did use it. Then several months into my contract, they shut me out. I received several different answers why. I simply asked for a prorated refund which they did not provide. I'd recommend to stay away.

PR Web deserves 0 stars

If I had the chance to give this company 0 stars, I would do it with my eyes closed. We bought a multi PR pack for a customer and they didn't let us use. After several calls and multiple emails, they simply refused to give us a reimburse, so they basically ripped me off with $1600.

Nice and trustworthy PR service

If you need someone for your publicity online then this is the go to place. Their services are little costlier but these guys are amazing. They write amazing stuff for your sites and post on reputed media websites. These guys do an awesome PR job but their services are a bit costly for sure.
Add a nice spin to your biz

PR support for all!

I recently had to write a Press Release for our small company. PRweb rocked it! Not only did their resources help me get my thoughts together but they also reviewed it before posting. They caught a stupid typo!!!
I just wanted to say they made me, and ultimately our company, look good.

PRweb is a scam and waste of money

PRweb is a scam. They used to be good 10 years ago, right now they are just horrible - the absolute worst. I spent $389 on the premium plan and all I got was 2 clicks. Also, in the visibility report they sent to me, all the 'news sites' they allegedly sent my release to, were all Z-list websites that have views of only a few hundreds a month. This is a big waste of money. Don't bother with PRweb or prnewswire, Cision whatever. Better to spend your money on Facebook or Google or Amazon ads. Don't do PRweb.

Looks like they were pretty good in…

Looks like they were pretty good in past and they probably are so cause I have seen it lot of times anyway and we need to check it out even more often than not. So basically what to do with all of that? Can we clearly make that acceptable?

PR Web - Vocus - Outmarket - Poor Service, Deceptive Sales

PR Web - Vocus - Outmarket. Company offered consulting PR services and social media content services stating they would do the heavy lifting. While this service was expensive, our business wanted to leverage pr and significantly improve our social media presence. The content system looked like it would give us a hub of intelligence for our industry and a pulse on the consumer. The heavy lifting turned into a consultant that reviewed grammar on press releases. PR Web - Vocus - Outmarket did not come up with a single idea, the content system did not have content for our industry - spa or franchise and their experience in social media was pedestrian at best. And to top it off, the personnel kept changing, the turnover in our account was substantial and disrupted any ability to get traction. Half way through the 12 month period, our marketing suite services were transferred to a new entity from Vocus to Outmarket, they discontinued our platform and then spent 3 months trying to restructure it. They missed meetings and kept postponing, meanwhile we had already paid for a 12 month service. After 3 months we received a 3 sentence proposal for services that were not part of the original scope. No refund has been provided to date and the executive leadership of Outmarket does not respond. I have 20 pages of documentation that outlines all the problems. I would highly recommend not doing business with any of these three companies.
