Playing steam games without logging in
Hello i bought the witcher 3 game on steam. after i installed it i went to steamapps and copied the entire game on a external hard drive. now i want to use the hard drive to play the witcher game on another pc which doesnt have steam installed and i dont want to install steam on it. Can i play the game somehow? Thanks

No the game files are all worthless unless they have been verified and must go thew the steam systems in order to do that.

Only if that account already has the game, but why not install steam on the other pc? since you have the game on the harddrive you just need to but it in the right steam folder then launch it.

Plus steam is such a small download so not really much trubble.

You have to launch the game for the first time while connected to steam after that you can play it in offline mode.

You can use family sharing to allow a different steam account to play it.

If you have multiple computers you can also log in with the same account on the same network and stream the game between pc's
