Overpriced synthetics

Sweaty hot nylon, rayon, polyester anyone? Other than jeans, which are primarily cotton, 90% of the clothes from this company are made of plastic, synthetic, non-degradable, planet polluting fabrics that make you sweat, and at a premium price too. I was sent a gray t-shirt made entirely of rayon as an example. Why?! That is classically and traditionally a cotton piece of clothing, but even with something as simple as that, they somehow use brands/labels that choose gross synthetics. Bye StitchFix and NO thanks!

I seriously do not understand the…

I seriously do not understand the negative reviews and question the legitimacy of them because they don't make sense. I've been doing Stitch Fix for 6 years and have not had anything but positive experiences. The first couple boxes were not excellent but my stylist and myself were still learning what I liked, but they've been great since! They always listen to what I ask for and personalize my box and explain their choices in the note. Most recently I asked for business casual clothes for my postpartum body and they did great choosing pieces I fell confident and comfortable in. I've had a couple pieces break/rip in the past and was very easily able to exchange them. They're not fraudulent nor a scam. That's ridiculous.

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company. I had a Stitchfix subscription and Stitchfix went bankrupt in the UK. Apparently they then sold all my data to Outfittery without my knowledge. This new company sent me a box, which I was not aware of because the building has a separate post room, and charged me £500! What a complete scam. I want my money back.

Scam

Scam. Clothing choices are awful unless you wanna look like a grandma in oversized clothes. I cancelled my next fix, they went ahead and charged me a styling fee. I contacted them and they said once it's initiated it can't be stopped....no shipped, initiated. Was told to just return when I received. Fast forward 2 weeks receive box, try to login to return and they've made my account inactive. Looked it up and apparently this is common. Would no recommend to anyone.

Had Stitch Fix for 6 years and used to…

Had Stitch Fix for 6 years and used to love it, but in recent years it became clear they’re relying more and more on the algorithm (being sent the same item multiple times, getting previews for things I specifically said I did not want, etc). Clothes also became so generic and I’d see the same things everywhere I went. Between how blah and frustrating the fixes became and all the reports about how badly their employees are treated, and how many more options there are now I cancelled my account. I’d way rather spend my money elsewhere.

Love them!

I’m a long time customer of Stitch fix and can say I am 100% satisfied with their selection and service. The entire process could not be easier or more efficient. I have never had any issues returning anything. A great deal of my wardrobe are stitch fix items, and I think the same can be said for many of my friends. Their selections are tailored to my tastes and I get a lot of complements.

Lower Quality

Comparable process to all the other styling subscriptions. I would just say the quality of the clothing is closer to Target/Macy's than what I would like. Maybe ok for an 'introductory' styling subscription.

Absolutely disgusted

This company sold my data to Outfittery including my email address, name, and personal bank details without my consent. I'm in the UK now and Stitch Fix in the UK no longer exists but they sold my information when they were bought by Outfittery. Now Outfittery is trying to fraudulently charge me for a Subscription service that I never even had with Stitch Fix. I only ordered one off boxes. I regret ever being a Stitch Fix customer as this has now caused my so much stress both financially and psychologically.

4+ years Subscription

I have had a subscription for 4+ years. I have loved it (especially since finding clothes that fit right seem impossible) but this last year or so it seems a bit repetitive in prints it sends & do not feel it’s as much of a variety. I love the quality of clothes and I feel recently the pre-selection is helping prevent repetitive styles but personally it’s not meeting my same satisfaction level as it did prior. Example: I received similar dress in exact same print 2 seasons in a row. Amazing for new subscribers though just feel it’s not a good fit for long-term.

StitchFix literally needs to stitch fix their clothing

I didn't have any problems with them charging me incorrectly and the app has improved, especially the feedback questionnaire after every fix, the only reasons for an extra star, but from all the boxes ("fixes") I received, clothing seemed like manufacturing rejects, blah styles that I could find at Target, not sure if they looked at the feedback and applied the responses, repetitive items in the same box (for example getting same top, but one was sleeveless and the other is long sleeve), and fluffing the box with one type of clothing, mine was cardigans, which I didn't need, consistently got even though I said no more cardigans every box.

One of the biggest flaws with the clothes I got seemed like they're sourced from the manufacturing mistakes pile - asymmetrical sewing patterns, crooked hems, incorrect sizing labels, etc - all what seem to be manufacturer rejects, which I'm sure they get for a steal, and then charge a premium for them. Not all pieces were horrible but a lot of them were or in some way a reject and it got worse over time.

I had hoped by liking clothes through their order by demand online store ("freestyle"), which seems more like department store clothing, better quality and trendier styles, that I'd get those or something similar, but it never happened.

Cancelling was easy. I'll never go back, even with all the free styling fee offers I get, and even though I haven't found another clothing subscription box that seems legit.

Great quality, variety and fun to use

I’ve tried several different stylers over the years and love stitch fix the best. For me, having a dedicated stylist that listens to me speaks volumes and assures me a fix that meets my needs. I love using their app to personalize my style and preview my fixes and have never had a problem with exchanges or returns. I also love the option of purchasing outright anything i need, especially when my favorites go on sale.

I always really enjoyed getting a box…

I always really enjoyed getting a box from Stitch Fix and seeing what was selected for me! But the past year or more I’ve been horribly disappointed. I’ve been sent items I already disliked and returned, sent things I specifically asked not to, etc. I take the time to give feedback on every item, update my profile, rate things, etc only to be send generic nonsense that isn’t at all what I wanted and sometimes is literally what I have mailed back and said i did not want! Nothing about it feels personal or fun any more. If you want a box of random clothes sent to your house this is the service for you. If you actually want personalized clothing that takes in to account your feedback and input steer clear because they don’t try at all.

I’d give zero stars if I could

I’d give zero stars if I could. This company has received items I returned yet didn’t complete the return until I inquired where the return was. I would have not gotten my money back unless I asked??!! Then they didn’t handle several returns correctly and when I sent the information (that they asked for) they now will not respond to emails and deactivated my account. I have a right to see my orders and return page to ensure that my items are received. I’ll be returning everything that I’ve purchased in the last three weeks as I can’t support a company like this-which is at least $500 so again, I have the right to track that. They also will not respond to a $1,700 purchase that I inquired about that is no longer on my orders and returns page. When I asked for a supervisor’s assistance they declined to send my concerns on. My credit cards are looking into fraud and shared they have multiple complaints with this company.

Very poor stylist selections

I have been a long term, loyal customer and spent a ton of money. I provide feedback on my fixes, I chat, I email and constantly update my profile yet I still get items sent to me that I have clearly stated, I do NOT want. I'm extremely disappointed in this company then I found out that a human doesn't select all my items, some are selected by a computer?! I pay top dollar and have worked harder to remain a customer than they have to keep me. I guess it's time to move on!

Love love love Stitch Fix

Love love love Stitch Fix. I am always amazed how the stylists always seem to pick the right items and with the perfect fit. What took me hours at the store, now takes no time! I also love getting the box in the mail. I can include items that I pick, if I want, but they always seem to include a surprise. It’s like Christmas all year long. Their customer service has been very helpful. And returns and exchanges are easy. I just wonder why it took me so long to give them a try. I highly recommend them!

Longtime user of stitchfix (8+ years)

Longtime user of stitchfix (8+ years) and while not every box is a home run, I have felt styled within what I’ve asked for and do not understand the negative complaints. I even had a package accidentally shipped to my old address and they did not charge me (even though it was 100% my fault). Communication is fast and customer friendly. I continue to use them, though I do love the direct purchase shopping option too now that I know my preferred brands/sizing.

Be Very Careful

Be Very Careful, this company, Stitch Fix, stole our Business Credit Card and fraudulently charge up to $7000.00 over a course of 4 months. We don't even know who they are, they refuse to call you at all, and yes make it very hard to talk to anyone, then act like they have been calling and emailing you. And they will not give us the information we asked. It's a highly fraudulent company, BE WARNED and do not give them any payment types. You will be very sorry. Not even their "Specialized Billing Department" will call you. It's a fraudulent company, you should be able to talk to someone who will take care of their business. Especially when you fraudulently steal a credit card and use it to make your business grow.

Big disappointment

Big disappointment! I have been receiving items that go against every single comment I have submitted! I live in Florida where it’s very hot and I ask for maxi dresses and sleeveless tops only no jackets or heavy or scratchy material. They continue to send me clothing with sleeves both short and long and sweater dresses that I cannot use here in Florida. I have called them and sent many messages but it’s as if they ignore them!

Fraudulent transactions no support

When I did use it: poor quality clothing
I haven’t used it for years but someone logged into my account, ordered clothes to my old address (25-30 miles away) with my credit card and collected them there. When I reported this to SF they responded quickly at first and now I’ve heard nothing in a month even with chasing and complaint.

Someone bought over £200 of clothing with my card but nothing is being done.
