Total scam! They say one price.98 for the info, but don't only give you basic information that's already online. Then they say $29.99 will give you the actual info, then they charge another $19.99 for again, the rest of the info, then again charge you...another $20 or $30 bucks for more info. Do not give spokeo your information! I tried to pay for the 1 dollar fee but it gave me a message that said the transaction was not able to go through. I shrugged it off thinking it was nothing, but I check my bank account the next day and I was missing 350 DOLLARS. I called my bank and they helped me get my money back, but that still means that someone out there has 350 dollars now. Be careful out there!

They are good about sending a letter about we are sorry about not meeting your expectations. Our terms of use states we can do this blah blah blah. After I cancelled this subscription and got this in writing from David, I got a new debit card from my bank. Spokeo found the NEW CARD and charged it. I took the problem to my bank and got a credit. Be very careful of these people, watch your bank statements.

Since all Spokeo subscriptions automatically renew to prevent service interruption, trials that were left unchanged, were charged on the service's renewal date. Furthermore, cancelling your service only disables your subscription from renewing and does not offer a refund. Since all Spokeo services are prepaid, your service will last the duration of the period purchased.
When making a purchase, we do our best to let you know about the kind of information we may have available. In addition, we gather our data from 12 billion public records, ranging from census data to public social media profiles. New information is added to our system every day. Spokeo does not originate or create data, so our data reflects that of the original sources. Spokeo does not guarantee data accuracy, and the data should only be used as a reference.
