Anyone else with login failure, ufile online

Anyone else with login failure, ufile online

anyone having a login problem for ufile online?

since the evening of June 15, 2020
have you had trouble logging in
initially the site said down for scheduled maintenance
which is odd to schedule that on filing due date (for business)
since then both household logins or passwords not working; a login captcha was added
no email reply
telephone support is usually good but a message says "no agent available" three days in a row
cant post on the ufile user blog; system fails to send the account verification email
today the site is down for scheduled maintenance until 7 PM so don't try now

@marty81 I'm having the exact same issue as you described. Right now I'm locked out and have lost access to my account. Sent email for support, no response. Called their phone, no agent. Today site was down for maintenance, I though they would fix the issue, but not! This is so frustrating!

a follow up...

first of all have to admit i was experimenting with a "user agent switcher"
so i disabled it right away but that may have initiated the lockout issue or it was a co-incidence. don't do that with higher security pages

eventually i tried the password recovery process, of course i hadn't actually forgotten it, and worried if the security question still worked
so it worked out for both household logins

ufile might have communicated the need a password reset, after all its Thomson Reuters... communication experts judging by all those promo emails
so its all their fault not mine


thanks for the idea about Studiotax, requirements say it woks with Mac OS 10.9 and up which is decent legacy support
on the other hand ufile online works with Mac OS 10.8 and surely back to 10.6 at least, using Firefox ESD or Waterfox
