Peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on March 3, 2003 at 61 years of age formerly of Quebec. Beloved husband of Marion, with whom he celebrated 39 years of marriage. Loving father of Rolland and wife Jennifer of Amherstburg, Rick of Windsor. Cherished grandpa of Trevor and Spencer. Dear brother of Raymond Tarte of Iberville, Quebec, Roger Tarte of Mont St.-Gregoire, Quebec, Paul and wife Claire Tarte of Iberville, Quebec. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Ben served with the Royal Canadian Air Force for 5 years, was a member of R.C.L. Br. #143 and a retiree of Daimler Chrysler with 30 years of service.
