January 27.2023 SimpleSite, Copenhagen Denmark did not merge with any other company. I Am Bonita Vaughn, Editor-in-Chief, Founder, Boomer Blogger Literary Inspirational E-magazine, username Boomer Blogger1. When One.com and WordPress screens started blocking me from logging in to the SimpleSite website editor, SimpleSite sent a security warning not to submit personal information such as passwords, payment, credit card, or account information. My website domain address is still up at SimpleSite, but I don't have access for updating new Issues of my E-magazine. I have been with SimpleSite since April 17 2019. Websites and hosts aren't perfect, the main issue is that SimpleSite gets hacked from time to time by those that wish to acquire websites maliciously, and not by due process, and this hurts the credibility of an otherwise reputable company. Been with this company for about 5…

Been with this company for about 5 years, then they have just closed my website down despite paying on time. Said they have moved to One.com, Tried to log in but account does not exist. Contacted both Simplesite and One.com, no reply.

Thank you for the update, however my customers are complaining, and I am sure I am losing business, as this website is a booking portal.

Dishonest Company

I used this company to build my domain. I got the subscription on the 14th of September, 2022. They told me it was a pound for a month. But it turned out to be a one-off of around 31 pounds for 3 months. I was ok and writing and posting, but suddenly, on the 13th of October, they told me they had merged with One.com. And guess what One.com planning to charge me a yearly subscription on 24 th of October, so I would list this company as a red flag and cancel my subscription. It's their dishonesty and lack of transparency that makes me mad. If they had told me before the subscription about their plans, It would have been a different story.

However, as per our agreement, your subscription will continue with one.com, and you will not be charged unless you decide to continue your subscription.

A very choppy framerate as I editing my page

This is the worst experience I have.. after the very choppy 1 fps at editing my web cost me a 5 hours f0cked.. Badass programming.. I needed it so badly cause this is required in my school

Amazing for small Business Owners

Had my website for over a year and I'm so happy with it and is everything I had hoped for, however for some reason it has stopped accepting my renewal. I've tried different cards with different banks and tried contacting customer services. I've not had a response as of yet but I hope they can resolve it soon as it is currently offline! As soon as I receive a reply I will update 4 stars to 5 stars, as this company really is amazing for a small business.

Had a quick reply after I posted this, and my website was extended for free until payment was resolved! I’m so happy with this company they really take care of their customers!

If I could leave NO STARS I WOULD

If I could leave NO STARS I WOULD!
Please do not use this company.
I was mislead as like many signed up free and paid a pound initially.
Since then money has been taken out of my account.
I emailed company with no response.
I then tried to cancel my subscription and the site crashed every time I attempted to complete cancellation.
I will update my review once I have received a response.
I have demanded a refund as I have been completely mislead !

Perhaps it was not clear to you, but Simplesite only offers a 30 day free trial. This is to give people the opportunity to experience our software and decide if they wish to continue or not. If they do wish to continue, we have a special offer where you can purchase a domain name and get your first month PRO subscription for only 1 pound. After that, as with all website builders, a continous payment is required to maintain your domainname and website. We're very sorry if this was not clear.

We checked our communication, and we can see you emailed our customer service on the 9th of July. We can confirm we replied and have already started to process your refund as per our refund policy.

This Company Rocks

Just wanted people to be aware of a truly awesome company. In a world of chats and impersonal communication, this company ROCKS! Useless

Its seems like a good site, but there is clinch in their software to set up a payment method for my products. I had a personal PayPal account, I upgraded to a business as they requested. But their useless software would not accept the upgrade. Their 'support help' is just q and a which is as useful as a chicalote teapot. There no way to message them to speak to a human or even a chatbot, same result with social media Which is real frustrating and huge waste of my time in the building the site.

Solving technical problems with simple site

I had a problem last year and was able to get technical assistance from Carl at Simple Site. A few days ago I have another problem, and when I contacted simple site I was told that they could not help me. I then contacted Carl and he help me with one problem and advise me as to how I can go about fixing the other issue, which I'm doing right now.

A very easy site and excellent customer service.

I am editing my review as I had not read the instructions properly and the mistake was mine.
I find this a very easy site to manage and love the effect.
When I contacted them they more than resolved my problem. Now I feel they are a company to be trusted which is so important in this day and age when there is so much very dubious stuff around.
I can happily recommend them. it is a joy to build this site

Con artists keep well away

Con artists keep well away, it's not free they take £35 out of your account every month with out telling you.. Trust me don't sign up. It's not a £1 like they advertise. If they respond saying they don't then they are liars which should tell you to keep away. Close my account reimburse me for everything you stole then I will take the review down and also the blog I am doing about you and also a YouTube video you total scum of society.
