Cannot enter anaconda.org username that includes a "." character #5446

Anaconda Distribution is what you downloaded @anders-sjoegren enter it where? |
In the Anaconda Navigator on the top right there is a button “Sign in to Anaconda Cloud”.

This does not mean you are using the latest version of a given package. The latest anaconda distribution was released 3 months ago. Now, you are correct, no dots are allowed at the moment, but you can login from the terminal by doing

Upon installing Anaconda Distribution and registering in Anaconda Cloud, I can't enter the username in Anaconda Distribution. It appears that the character "." is not allowed in Anaconda Distribution, but allowed at anaconda.org when I registered.
