Important Update for all Xtra and Spark email users

Xtra Mail's New Chapter

Big news for Xtra users still rocking an xtra.co.nz email— from 16th of May things are changing.

Love Xtra Mail? It's been the go-to for Kiwis for nearly 30 years, linking us up with an email service that feels like home. But here's the scoop: from 16 May 2024, keeping that @xtra.co.nz tag comes with a new price tag.

Here's the Deal:

  • For Spark loyalists (yep, if you've got Spark broadband, mobile, or landline), the service will now be $5.95 a month. GST included no surprises.

  • Flying solo without Spark? Your monthly rate for Xtra Mail hops up to $9.95.

Spark's reasoning?

The shift comes as maintaining the service at its current cost has become unsustainable for Spark, marking a significant change, particularly for small businesses accustomed to using Xtra Mail.

So, What's Next?

If your business has been using an Xtra email, it's crunch time. Spark's hinting (well, more like nudging) businesses towards Microsoft 365. And honestly? It's not a bad move.
