Amazing for small Business Owners

Had my website for over a year and I'm so happy with it and is everything I had hoped for, however for some reason it has stopped accepting my renewal. I've tried different cards with different banks and tried contacting customer services. I've not had a response as of yet but I hope they can resolve it soon as it is currently offline! As soon as I receive a reply I will update 4 stars to 5 stars, as this company really is amazing for a small business.

Had a quick reply after I posted this, and my website was extended for free until payment was resolved! I’m so happy with this company they really take care of their customers!

My website someone access and change…

My website someone access and change all my web and my contact has been removed and all photo from my web I try to contact simplesite to help and change password but no body help for more than 6 month now without solve the problem

Solving technical problems with simple site

I had a problem last year and was able to get technical assistance from Carl at Simple Site. A few days ago I have another problem, and when I contacted simple site I was told that they could not help me. I then contacted Carl and he help me with one problem and advise me as to how I can go about fixing the other issue, which I'm doing right now.

Not good this a scammed says free…

Not good this a scammed says free trial but want you debit card information first take one dollar after a week take 39.99 for tree months I not approve for take my money woooo never again I can't no trust any one anymore come on stop Stealing money for the poor people

Simplesite.com is simply the best

Simplesite.com is simply the best! I rant raved reviews due to the fact... it is not only affordable even to people that are on a low income, but the service, advice, explanations, caring kindness, to me has been superb! I am literally ecstatic that I have 330,000 visitors and average 400 or more a day and have not advertised. It is simply because I follow the wisdom/knowledge that is rendered to me as part of simplesite.com services. They are prompt, to the point, explicit, and open for more questions and concerns always! They establish a rapport with you that is much like family!

l love this simple site so much and l…

l love this simple site so much and l will still continue using it but l have a problem here last month l use the 1usd option the expiring date it was on the 18 November but l did not have money to renew it but USD 28.83 is deducted in my account .please l need a refund and l will renew my site later maybe by next week

Very misleading says it’s free then changes to 30 days trial.

Very misleading says it’s free, then you get bombarded with emails say they they are taking your site down as it’s a 30 days trial. What a wast of my time building a website that took me weeks to make then told you pay! This site is not cheap either compared to other better providers after research, which are free.

Don’t wast your time building one with them, there are much cheaper providers out there.

Useless

Its seems like a good site, but there is clinch in their software to set up a payment method for my products. I had a personal PayPal account, I upgraded to a business as they requested. But their useless software would not accept the upgrade. Their 'support help' is just q and a which is as useful as a chicalote teapot. There no way to message them to speak to a human or even a chatbot, same result with social media Which is real frustrating and huge waste of my time in the building the site.

This Company Rocks

Just wanted people to be aware of a truly awesome company. In a world of chats and impersonal communication, this company ROCKS! I have had to communicate with them over the years and each time I have had a “real” person reach out to me in a very personal way…warm, and caring. It’s like dealing with a friend. I can’t say enough about how good that feels. They make the effort to elevate customer service back to the level it should be. Bait & Switch con artists

Signed up for free hosting. No mention of a trial period or expiry date in the T&C's. Recently they started demanding payment for using this "free" service, threatening to delete my account if I did not comply. Despicable act. I would not host a site with this company now even if they paid me to do so.

A very easy site and excellent customer service.

I am editing my review as I had not read the instructions properly and the mistake was mine.
I find this a very easy site to manage and love the effect.
When I contacted them they more than resolved my problem. Now I feel they are a company to be trusted which is so important in this day and age when there is so much very dubious stuff around.
I can happily recommend them. it is a joy to build this site

Rip Off/Beware!

I too had the free version of SimpleSite. Recently I was sent an email stating that it was going to expire, but I could try PRO for 1.00 a month for 3 months.
Sounded like a good deal, until I checked my bank account. No where did they state it was going to cost 39.95 for 3 months plus the international credit card fee they charged as well of .32. The 1.00 was there as well as another .01 fee for using a cc internationally.
Thanks for your transparent, honest solicitation of your website. I am expecting a refund and I have also canceled and deleted my web page.

We are currently in the process of changing our subscription plan, from free to paid and we have offered all of our free members the opportunity to upgrade their website to a paid plan within 45 days.

The 1 pound offer buys you a domain name at the cost of 1 pound instead of 15 pounds, including a 30 day free trial for new members. However, since your website was no longer new, the system recognises that you have already had more than 30 days for free and our payment system deducts the payment plan automatically.

We're are sorry for the confusion. We realise that the offer could have been clearer and we are working hard to align all of our information as we transition our service to our new subscription model. As a compensation for this misunderstanding, we would like to give you an extra free month's subscription if you simply write to our customer service via customerservice@simplesite.com and explain that you have reached out to us via Trustpilot.

If you would rather stop your subscription, our customer support team can help you do that. We have a 14-day refund policy in which you can write us to request a refund.

Finally, Simplesite has no influence on the creditcard costs your bank takes for international fees. This is determined by the individual bank and these cannot be altered or refunded by SimpleSite.

We do hope you decide to remain part of the SimpleSite family and continue to enjoy our service. If not, we advice you to make copies of your content and wish you all the best for the future.

Awesome

The features are all cool and easy to set up and use though I was not able to see the full picture because I was on a free subscription mode, but I would say that it would have been a lot better if I took the plan or something. The overall experience was great especially for beginners.

Been with this company for about 5…

Been with this company for about 5 years, then they have just closed my website down despite paying on time. Said they have moved to One.com, Tried to log in but account does not exist. Contacted both Simplesite and One.com, no reply.

Thank you for the update, however my customers are complaining, and I am sure I am losing business, as this website is a booking portal.

"free" plan has expired...

Very disappointed with Simplesite. Signed up for the free plan, which had very basic options but was sufficient for my needs.

They emailed me out of the blue stating "We are stopping your free service – but you are welcome to continue as PRO user." and "We are doing this to be able to continue development and support of Simplesite..."

So it's only "free" for a limited period? No thanks, that's not what I signed up for. I have since found an alternative service provider that is genuinely free, and closed my Simplesite account

This right also covers that we can both offer our product in a free version with limited functionality as part of our marketing - and that we can stop offering a free version.

All online businesses have similar terms of use for free versions as no one can predict the future. No one can predict the evolution of technology, economics, or whether a pandemic will emerge and how it will affect society and its businesses. In recent years, Internet users have generally experienced that many online services, including newspapers, games and apps, have gone from being completely free in the beginning, to a full or partial payment model. These changes have taken place to ensure the sustainability and livelihood of their company. Unfortunately, we have had to make the same decisions and make the same changes. We again regret the necessity of this decision, but we hope you will understand that the decision was made to secure the future of our many loyal paying customers.
