I found Lexington Law on Google and decided to go with them because they’re a big company. They were doing a fine job but the thing is that they use what’s called a subscription model and after awhile it was starting to really add up. One day I was talking to a realtor and she told me about a company she used called Phoenix Group Credit Services. She said that they have a different model. She said that they’ll give you an exact quote up front so that you know exactly what you’re getting in to before you make your decision. I reached out and turns out she was right. They gave me a free quote for the whole program up front. I remember it being like really affordable. They fixed my credit fast and when they were done I went back to that same realtor lady to buy my house!!

Horrible company, do not sign up with them. They are not a company with integrity. They try to make it impossible for you to cancel them.

Wow - this is the first time I've legitimately felt scammed by a business.
All they do is send the 'challenges'. You yourself have to respond to any inquiries from banks and agencies. For $139 a month, you would expect a little more hand-holding. They have paralegals available on weekdays - who are nice people - but are trained moreso to keep you on the subscription service rather than actually resolve your issue.
What put me over the edge is after I expressed my displeasure, they said they would keep me on a reduced rate of $25/month since I only had 1 negative mark. Instead, I was charged $114 which is a $25 discount. WOW, totally f**cked. STAY AWAY!!!

Lexington Law are crooks! They will try to see you with some sweet talking person in the US and the. It’s call center India all the way! They failed to deliver what they promised (remove some simple inaccurate negative feedback from my credit report), instead they sent a generic letter to rating bureaus and never took into account the information I provided to them, at the request I might add when they were trying to sign me up. After three months of taking money out of my account, they deleted my subscription without offering any meaningful service. I called to see what was happening and they told me they deleted my subscription because I wasn’t happy with the outcomes. They never even bothered to write and say anything about them cancelling my account, nor did they ever deliver any outcomes or refund the $400 dollars they charged me. It is now close to 4 months later, and in addition to taking my money and not delivering, they have stolen from me time that could have perhaps been spent actually doing something about inaccurate negative data on my credit report. Lexington law should be shut down.

I hired lexington law and paid them 6months to repairmy credit....my score was 670 and it went to 540 almost Instantly I left them and recently went back and hired them again....all I had was some late payments on my car and it was paid off so I wanted them to fix it...I also had a medical bill that was paid by the Insurance 2 years ago so I wanted that gone...my score is 588 and has been there for 3 months and all I get is .....well sent letters to them....for the money I paid I expected both dropped off my score....I think they just want money from people to do nothing...I am wondering if they do anything except answer phones and text messages.. .very disappointed in them

The FTC sued them and won $2.7B in August 2023. You'll likely get some of your money back.

Beware of this company. They border on fraudulent activity. I spent nearly $2000 for them to clean up my credit. The failed miserably. I had accounts that hadn’t been worked for months. Getting an answer from these people is nearly impossible. I talked to many of the employees and found I got different answers to the same question. The front line people shields customers from senior management. They are unprofessional and lack knowledge. I think they should be exposed for the frauds they are. This review will not faze them nor will they reach out to explain. They were not forthright with me at all. I don’t like being lied to. I can honestly say this company lacks integrity and professionalism. Anybody interested in joining me in a lawsuit to recover the money they ripped off from us? It would be nice for them to lose their license to do business. In the meantime, I’ll continue to hover around them and make attempts to expose them for what they are. I’ve already sent a letter to the Attorney General in the state they are licensed in. My voice is loud, but I need a crowd of voices. Obviously, I’m not the only person who fell for their scam. Shameful and shameless

cost way much, only the paid collection accounts removed during 6 months, of the $100 monthly fee! no, not even unpaid medical bill removed, that condemned me for multiple years! Too high cost, for so little!

I canceled with this company because they were charging way more what than what they said they were. For the past two months which I have canceled continuously verbally through emails they continue to take money from my account and they block it so you can't remove your credit card or your debit card and continually take funds out of my account month after month. Do not trust this company

Very much a sales operation, no real engagement with your case or customer service (just bot-like boiler plate responses.) There's nothing they do you can't do on your own -- so save your money! And when you try to cancel for lack of progress or activity or updates, they kick the can and tell you to just be patient, keep renewing (or, they ignore your outreach altogether.) Feels like they're bilking an already-vulnerable population.
