YouNow: Broadcast, Chat, and Watch Live Video

YouNow as a site has lost any an d all value. I figure Adi Sideman needs 3-5K broadcasters per hour in order to break even. 10K to 20K broadcasters per hour to start making a profit from ads, and the BARS currency used on YouNow to keep them from tanking. In a span of 8 hours these days May 16, 2019 you are lucky to get 500 broadcasters. Yesterday they had 119. Mr Sideman gives off the attitude that he is somehow above and thus better than the end users of the site. That was made very clear upon purchasing BlogTV and making a promise to us in that community that he would keep the BlogTV community intact. And, upon the merging of the two sites immediately proceeded to violate that promise and doing so lost the vast majority of BlogTV's devoted community. With many options open to make YouNow a valuable asset online Mr Sideman rather give into the fads or broken business models he and his management team decided to use. If the CEO of Live.Me aka LiveMe reads this: My opinion is watch the YouNow site 24/7 for a month and then see of the numbers your research finds matches that of Mr Sideman. And, only after you get real time results make the choice to buy or not. If I ran Live.Me I would not be bothered with `YouNow. This post is only my personal opinion. Heads up parents - kids will broadcast from SCHOOL to this site and maybe other like minded sites. Personally sites should prevent kids from blatantly streaming from school. After all kids are at school not to be streaming online or otherwise not learning. Also, both boys and girls under age 18 showing themselves in clothing that reveals well everything. Who needs to see a 16 year old or 14 year old boy without a shirt on and pants hanging off the tail end? Same for the girls whom try to act all grown up and wear a sport bra showing the midriff area and shorts so short that hair down yonder is visible or the tights are 15 sizes to small and reveal every detail.... Who needs that? The site is massive soft porn using under aged kids as the bait. Please Google: Is watching someone sleep sexual? This is in regards to what is called the #sleepingsquad on YouNow. This so called hash tags allows kids and adults to appear to be sleeping. It is a form of sexual fetish. Like a foot fetish is sexual. In fact someone whom did just show feet ended up being banned for life from YouNow due to the sexual nature of the content being shown. I have countless times told Adi, and moderators as well as did broadcasts showing the results of the Google search asking is it sexual to watch someone sleep. YES> Those people are classified as predictors. Again you need to Google this because your kid(s) could be thinking they are just sleeping and getting fans and followers when really they are attracting sexual predators. Here is the low down as I see it: Say a person is appearing to sleep under a blanket... They could position themselves so that they masturbate while pretending to be sleeping... Could be naked under that blanket, and or getting off knowing they are being watched as they secretly pleasure themselves. As for the viewer watching: they are not seen or heard and they could be watching a 14 year old or 16 year old pleasuring themselves as Adi Sideman and his YouNow provide a perfect place for predictors to stalk unsuspecting prey. I can not state this enough: Watching people sleep is sexual. Google it. IS it sexual to watch people sleep. The time it is not sexual is where you normally expect to encounter someone sleeping. Your kids in bed. Your partner/spouse/boy or girlfriend. So it is not always sexual... However, do you watch your loved ones sleep ONLINE on a so called family friendly and safe site? The idea that not showing one's self online means it is fine to sleep online... Answer is - NO. If people want this type of sexual fetish go to a site for 18 and over where adult content is expected 100%. I have terminated my account on YouNow at this time as the site will be closing soon and or sold, and frankly no one uses the site any longer. All the actual big names and YouTubers have parted wahy long ago now. And, even partners that used to be big on YouNow have mostly left. Countless users parting ways since 2013 when I started. YouNow was started in 2011... And, without a way to play back the loans investors supported Mr. Sideman with, he is not able to secure anymore money to just repeat what he has done... hand it out trying to buy users loyalty without once thinking of other ways to build that trust and loyalty. YouNow, won't have a following of people talking about it years later like we do about BlogTV, Sadly YouNow will fade into obscurity and be forgotten in my opinion.

YouNow is a site that allows anyone over the age of 13 to live broadcast from wherever they may choose. Well, the rules state that you must be over 13 although that doesn't stop younger children broadcasting. The major problem with YouNow is that it is full of perverts that attempt to get young girls to expose themselves on camera. Whilst the site has moderators that do ban broadcasters and viewers for inappropriate behaviour, they manage to miss a huge amount of offending. Many of the broadcasters, many of whom are young children, will display their social media addresses on their profile page, giving all and sundry immediate access to their instagram, snapchat, kik, sometimes Facebook and Skype. This allows predators direct and unrestricted access to your children, barring those safety measures which you have put in place yourself. The other issue with YouNow is that you climb the rankings based on popularity, which is proven by the number of viewers that watch your broadcast. Many of the young and impressionable girls have realised that cleavage and partial or full nudity will get attention from males and thus boost them up the rankings. Therefore, many girls are constantly treading the fine line between decent and indecent until such time as they are either warned or banned, by which time it may be too late. Full nudity does happen on occasion. YouNow has rules, YouNow has moderators, but YouNow fails to enforce the rules proactively enough to safeguard the interests of your children and that is why I would strongly suggest that you ensure that your children do not use this site. If you feel that I might be exaggerating then please do take a look for yourself. Select a female broadcaster that is showing a fair amount of cleavage and watch the comments from viewers. Then tell me if you want YOUR children exposed to that.

I do not like that the younow mod's take long to come into the offender's broadcast after a report has been made to take legal action. parent's,step parents,grandparents should be aware that there are 9yr old's,12yr olds,11yr olds that use the platform aswell and have also been using it during the school day's. i think they should be on stream with their kids at all times if their children plan to do so. that's just my opinion. this app is also full of drama. if anyone has found this helpful give a thumbs up.

After a long time and many evenings, many hours I would like to give now a rating to YouNow. YouNow the streaming portal where any of the 13 is really can go live without any problems and thus show up. What streams so at or on YouNow? First and foremost these are most of the scum, the last thing that couldn't find a place elsewhere. People with little IQ or none at all. Because if you believe in aliens, if you think the earth is flat or if you do everything to get the right Likes, you don't seem to be the brightest person. Then we have there a part C celebrities I say to it, where one sees also gladly times and why also not. Furthermore there is a big part of the gay and lesbian movement where it's ok and you can have a good time with them. At least with most of them there are exceptions like everywhere else. Last but not least a small part of normal people who just want to chat and kill time. So all this would not be completely wrong, but there is a group that is daily online there to, according to one person, want to make games. These "trolls" are called. Well, these games are nothing more than bullying. These people go as far as they do slander like stealing pictures or manipulating other users there. How is the support? On the part of YouNow it is so accepted with the trolls, because many messages are ignored and one gets only text modules as an answer. Immediately message to a moderator is not even considered. Means you have to live with it as a newbie that you are probably first mobbed. Answer you get usually within 12 hours. But unfortunately, as already mentioned, they are mostly only text modules, not very much statements. Therefore the support of Zendesk is not good and doesn't really bring anything. Awareness? YouNow is well known, and unfortunately not as a good and safe site. If you search on YouTube for the term " YouNow " some videos and channels come with videos from streamers. These videos were all recorded without the streamer's permission and published on YouTube. However, they are also those with very little IQ, and therefore it serves to expose these people to mobbing. Data security? Also as far as the security of the site and the data is concerned, YouNow is probably a 6 as a score system! You can watch any stream as a video. Everything that was written can be viewed on one page. Dates when you registered are shown on the page. YouNow is an open book. Data security no piece on this page. My conclusion: If you want to laugh you can have a look here. Who would like to make contacts, yes goes also nevertheless so then hold to experienced Streamer on YouNow. And so as a protection note, don't give out any data, never do what people say in the chat how to make Bruges or dance. Also a question or statement about wheelchairs is not to be considered.
