Back in 2012 when I joined Xat it was this very good website with chatrooms where you could make friends from all over the world. It has got worse over the years though. These days the only people I tend to find are either low life fakes, trolls, bullies or even hackers trying to get user's IPs. However the Spanish version is still very busy if you speak the language. Fortunately I know a little bit.

Great way to talk to friends or just random people, been using it for over a year and a half and it's been really fun, although I quit the site because it did get VERY boring. Other then that in probably your first year, your find it very fun.

NEVER use this site. You have to purchase two forms of currency: xats (the "money"), and days (which allow you to use xats). Unless you spend $5 every single month, you won't be able to use what you've purchased, making it a complete waste.

Not to mention that the site supports child pornography. The mods refuse to step in when kids as young as 10 years old are being sexually harassed, saying that there's nothing wrong with it. Parents beware!

Yes - Xat may be 100% free, but as an experienced xat registered/subscriber user; xat isn't as fun as you'd think.

If you keep to yourself, stay at your own chat, and don't break the terms; you're fine, but watch out; there's abusing Volunteers there that will LOCK YOU OUT of your account.
