Really pleased with Yell so far

Really pleased with Yell so far, it's quite early on, but so far.
Kerrie and Brett have both been very easy to work.
Kerrie did a fantastic job introducing me to the site, app and how things will work.
Brett did a wonderful job with the website and has been really easy going and professional.

Time will tell as to how much this positively effects my business, but this is a strong start.

Think hard before jumping in!!!

I was approached by personnel from Yell.com to list my business on line. I took the opportunity and took the advice from my account advisor at the time. The only thing I have received from this listing is marketing calls. I will be cancelling this paid listing and making it a free listing at the earliest opportunity. I feel like I have been rinsed for money which is hard to come by for everyone at the moment.

Yvonne at yell designed my website and…

Yvonne at yell designed my website and guided me through from start to finish. Nothing was to much trouble, suggestions and advice were on hand. My site went live and I stupidly mucked up the dns settings. Yvonne was on hand the next day to sort out the issue. Very pleased with the service, including Jason my initial contact at yell. He like Yvonne was understanding and approachable and more importantly not a pushy sales rep. Give yell a shot 👍

Have been with Yell for last 5+ years…

Have been with Yell for last 5+ years now and we are pretty happy with the business we have developed over the years. The Yell team is very helpful and very supportive in whatever assistance you need.

I recommend anyone looking to grow their business / customers to join Yell and see the difference.

Never sign up for this company!!

So much for good customer services! They left me two missed called and two voicemail today couldn’t answer as I was at work, finally rang them back this afternoon and the person who wanted to get in contact with me was apparently on another call, still waiting for that call from that person!! All because I want to cancel my account because 1. I can’t afford £180 as I’m only starting out a business they didn’t tell me until the end of the meeting NOT at the beginning so it felt like I couldn’t say no as they’re were starting the website and the advertising and 2. All they think about is money nothing else!! Before long I’m gonna be blocking their number

Promised a fantastic website design by…

Promised a fantastic website design by professionals. Explained what I wanted from my present website. Now doing most of the work myself. At the moment I wish I hadn't started and wouldn't recommend. Tied in for 12 months, 4 of which have already passed with no website.

Daylight robbery! Avoid!

I rarely leave a review, especially a bad one, but on this occasion I need to get my word out there and save other people from on signing up with Yell and wasting their well earned money.
Absolutely charming lovely sales people (so it seems) they are so good at their job that they will brainwash you in thinking that you'll get loads of business with them, and that they will help you etc, when in a matter of fact they are absolute con artists who will take your money, sign you up to a contract that you cannot get out of and leave you with rubbish customer service.
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Don’t fool for them like I stupidly did.

What a fantastic job. Neil

We wish to thank Neil, of Yorkshire Fireplace Fitter. As he did an excellent standard of work fitting our Lincoln Wooden Fireplace, with Tulip cast insert, fitted with and electric fire. He had fitted it within six hours, with no dust as such, myself and my wife could not get over his standard of work, absolutely fabulous, we are more than impressed. Thankyou very much Neil your standard of work is second to none. Written by Mr and Mrs Harper, at Elsecar, Barnsley.

AVOID YELL AT ALL COSTS

The Yell.com model doesn’t work... they just rip people off
They really are the worst of the worst at marketing... complete incompetents who do nothing.
Not one referral in eight months... faults on their app they don’t correct... complete waste of money.
I am currently injured and struggling to work... so they have started sending me threats of debt collection... lovely people... avoid at all costs
They are in breach of contract as they are so useless... nothing...not one job... not one lead... despite all the false promises at the start.
I would be ashamed of working for this completely inept outfit... the modern day bandits.. taking money for nothing every month
AVOID AT ALL COSTS... as the costs will be huge... FOR NOTHING
And dont believe anything they write under this... they lie... and never deliver anything... not to be trusted.

Terrible company

Terrible company, prey on new business owners, promise allot and produce nothing. Oh and here’s the best bit once you are locked into a contract they have you and will milk your new business for every last penny. They were owned by Hibu again who care not a jot about you or your business. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Do not use this service,as this…

Do not use this service,as this scammers from begining, to the end.check there is groups,and legal claim groups against it. Do not listen sales agent as they lie to they best to get u on board. Customer service poor. People over the phone will try to scare u. So be careful if you want peace of mind don't join.

Terrible service hard to communicate…

Terrible service hard to communicate not worth the money my website wasn’t as promised and when I made changes to website they didn’t correct the errors and lost business on advertising

I responded to there reply as they said and still wasn’t resolved didn’t care in my opinion stay away

Not very easy to communicate with this…

Not very easy to communicate with this company. Once they sign you up and take your subscription payment, They put up their auto reply wall. Support staff are good once you get through to them. However does not make up for fact that it does not communicate well with its paying customers. Does not explain well what product you are signing up
