I have never been a customer

I have never been a customer, I have never given them my contact information and I have a hidden number with my phone company it's not available in the phone register, and I never give out my email to anyone and so on, still they somehow have gotten hold of my contact info and send me spam unwanted messages I have not asked for and not agreed to

The last one:

"Hei, jeg er Anne fra CareerBuilder, vi har en ny karrieremulighet, er du interessert i detaljene? Hvis ikke, kreves det ikke svar. Takk!"

I Norge er det dessuten forbudt å sende reklame til mennesker som har sperret og unnabedt seg for dette.

Dette er spam og høyst ulovlig.

Scam Artist

Like other reviews I received a text message on WhatsApp from Anne at CareerBuilders. After some basic questions was contacted by a scammer who was impersonating Marks & Spencer UK. Beware of this company

A very strange / fraudulent company

A very strange / fraudulent company. When you want to open a job description, they redirect you to another site with vacancies, and then to the third one. / everyjobforme.com / ejmj.com / expertjobmatch.com
There are several SMS messages about vacancies, both from CareerBuilder and from other fake job sites.
In letters or SMS, they write that a suitable job has been found for you. When you click on the link, it may turn out to be a completely different job.

SPAM SPAM and more SPAM !

SPAM SPAM and more SPAM !! I Ieft work for health reasons 10 years ago and I've been inundated with emails and text messages from career builder for nearly a year now. I have marked emails as spam and blocked text messages. But they just find a different number and keep harrassing me. Why aren't there more stringent laws in dealing with this kind of harrassment?

CareerBuilder sucks

Sent me multiple times to a completely different company than the one I was applying for. Instead of Trader Joes, it'd turn into UPS. Instead of Nike Warehouse it'd turn into US Border Patrol. Worst job site period, after sign ups you will receive copious amounts of junk emails and calls.

Found a job, hoping for a career. But what else did I get myself into on CareerBuilder???hat

I was able to find a job through Career Builder. I hope it becomes a career. But, I am getting inquires from foreign companies stating they found my resume on line. Do I need to worry about that? Are these legit companies? Does Career Builder do anything to protect our information? I suspect these jobs are fake, although they do not require upfront money & you do not have to buy anything, but what they are asking you to do, is that legal? How do you find out if it is real employment or how do I remove my resume asap?

BEWARE

Whatever you do, stay far away from this website. Do not give them any personal information.
Nothing but scam job offers and phishing emails. You’ll have to change your email address because they come from different sources, so blocking doesn’t help. Even if you request that CareerBuilder does not share your data, your info is already floating around out there.

I signed up looking for a job.....NEXT!

I signed up looking for a job. What an exhausting ordeal! I was sent emails from companies interested in me, but they supplied no phone numbers, Company names, locations, etc., plus more Internet research revealed little about these "companies." Their emails were sent from weird addresses and everything else to indicate so many red flags. Can you spell S C A M? No, they didn't get any more of my information. I'm out.

Beware!!

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT share your personal or professional information with this company. As soon as I posted by resume, I received numerous spam calls as well as spam texts. However, the worst issue is that someone was able to get my identity and my bank information. Be aware if an opportunity is too good to be true it is not true. I received two emails for jobs that sounded fantastic and paid well, that were both scams!!!!

Stay away

Stay away to protect your info. there are tons of other job posting platforms that don't have these problems. I started getting calls from people with very strong indian accent, all offering me an interview for a job in a field I am not even related anymore. I've been asking all of them where they are getting my information. I thought they were saying Career Vendor. But just realized it was Career Builder because of their automatic email suggesting me same type of jobs.
Deleted my account.

I am having the exact situation and it…

I am having the exact situation and it is driving me nuts, too. It is hard enough to weed through legitimate offers without being bombarded by emails and texts saying they received my info from Career Builders and they have an interview set up. Not in my field and usually not researchable.

If applying for a job in the U.S.

If applying for a job in the U.S., please make sure the recruiters speak clear English and have correct location information, contact info, etc. When someone is trying to fill a position in K.C. and they are calling from Jersey and don't speak English, it's harder on everyone I promise...

I removed my info from Career Builder

I removed my info from Career Builder. They are the only job board that I've had issues with scammers. I received a ton of calls from Pakistan or India posing as legitimate job placement agencies and speaking rapidly. After I wasted time with the first caller and realized they were trying to scam cash I figured out what was going on. Unfortunately that was the first call of many. I've reported this activity to the correct government agency.

I had a horrible experience with…

I had a horrible experience with CareerBuilder. I thought I'd try it out and post one job during July. Website logins and navigation is absolutely the worst. You'll end up with 5-6 extra tabs open and can't get answers. The bot chat...worthless. Gave me an answer on where to cancel my description that didn't exist. Also they said I have 4 applicants...3 were from the same person.
