Amazon Fire TV Stick issue

I purchased an Amazon Fire TV Stick and try to sign in to the CTV Go app, but I keep getting “connection timeout” and not able to activate the app.

Does anyone has similar issue???

Same issue here. Would love to find a fix. Works on one fire stick and not the other.

Bell appears to have disabled the CTV app for the Fire TV. Email them at ctvgo@bellmedia.ca so they can reactivate it.

CTV and Global both now show as "unavailable" from the Amazon AppStore. Looks like they have been pulled?

I sideloaded the CTV Go App from Google PlayStore onto FireStick, signed in and it works just fine. Need to use Mouse Toggle to make selections.

make sure your amazon accounts are set to CANADA appstore and kindle services.
then click sync services on the firestick.
also if you are using a dns geo fence service this can cause it too.
are we there yet?

I am having difficult to sideload Google Playstorenonto Firestick....

I download all the APK file to ES File Explorer, but I am not able to install them...

Do you have a link to walk me thru?? Cause I want to use the Rogers AnyPlace TV app too.

There are Youtube videos which detail what you need to do. Have you set the Fire stick to allow apps from unknown sources?

I didn't install Google PlayStore on Firestick. To get CTV Go onto Firestick, I installed Apps2Fire on my tablet from Google PlayStore and used that to push my CTV app on my tablet to the FireStick. Easiest way to sideload any Android app to the FireStick.

On FireStick, from Settings, Developer Options, enable ADB Debugging and Apps from unknown sources
from Network, get the IP address for the Firestick
In Apps2Fire, enter the IP address
From list of Local apps in Apps2Fire, tap on the app you want to be pushed over
Be patient with the first app pushed, as it takes awhile for App2Fire app to issue some ADB commands before app is transferred over to FireStick and installed.
After the first one, the others install pretty quick.
