Can't Sign In to OneDrive with the Win 10 program

    Running 1903 18362 449

Last month I changed my Microsoft Account email address. Everything was fine until yesterday - now the native Win OneDrive app won't let me log in. When I go to the OneDrive login screen, it has my outdated email address on the login screen, which I can't change. I enter the correct password and get the message

    SOMETHING WENT WRONG

There is a problem with your Microsoft account. to fix this.
sign into account.live.com from your browser.

I can do this with no problems. Everything is in order there. I have reset the OneDrive program. I still cannot get rid of the old email for my username on the native OneDrive sign-in screen.

I also deleted the Windows Credentials for OneDrive - no joy.

Since I can't sign in there is no sync, but I can upload files using the OneDrive app from the store, and of course, have full access for OneDrive from my browser.

I did a restore from last week when OneDrive automatically signed in upon startup - no joy,

So I have exhausted all of the tips I could glean from the official Microsoft forums.

I would appreciate any tips to point me in the right direction.

    Thanks!

Thanks, I tried link unlink no change - should have indicated that with the first post. I finally just uninstalled OneDrive from Win 10 & then re-installed the program.
Started from scratch with the initial setup and got the correct email address for the login.

Should have done that first. Got the right info for the log-in & it even detects the existing folder so there was no syncing to do (except for the 1 file I uploaded from the OneDrive app).

But always "FUN" to waste an hour wrestling with the good ole laptop. Still can't figure out why it stopped logging in. Had it done it as soon as I changed my email for my Microsoft Account it would have made sense - but over 3 weeks later??? What changed?

Thanks again for your prompt response!
