COVID-19 INFORMATION UPDATE

AS OF JUNE 1, 2023 the office continues to provide masks and appreciates that masks are worn. The CDC has in the past recommended masks in health care environments. By age alone, Dr Salomon remains at increased risk from a COVID virus illness and requests respect and courtesy on the part of those seeking care in person. By wearing masks, Dr Salomon has been able to remain one among very few who have not had a diagnosed COVID illness (or symptom) so far. Reduced spread is the best way to minimize viral reproduction and mutation formation. Variants remain in circulation and continue show the potential for serious illness. Prevention of virus replication is of great importance.

If you are currently ill, have recently tested positive, or have been exposed to someone within the past week, please be respectful and ask for a video session or to reschedule. Do not come to the office if you are ill or currently testing positive.

The epidemiology of COVID-19 is being closely monitored. Dr Salomon will adjust office policies as deemed appropriate for mutual safety. Vaccinations are strongly encouraged.

Initial visits in person are required. Virtual (online) visits remain an option for follow-up. Please let Dr Salomon know if you prefer an office visit, and review and e-sign the Addendum to the Office Policies in the LUMINELLO portal concerning COVID-19. Temperature checks are no longer recommended. As noted above, masks for office visits are provided and appreciated, though not mandatory.

Video conferencing is always encouraged for those who are “doing well,” or are not up to date on vaccines and boosters. For video visits, simply point your internet browser to: < https://doxy.me/drsalomon >. No codes are needed and there are no downloads. Use the same URL address every time. This takes you to a virtual “waiting room.” No one else can see you there except Dr Salomon.

Either way, whether in person or by video, ALL visits remain by appointment only. Again, initial visits are required to be in-person.

The office is located at 104 East Park Drive, Building 300, in Brentwood. Note that there are THREE buildings with the same address. Building 300 is behind building 100, all close to Dunkin’ Donuts, Chuy’s, McDonald’s, and Amaravati in the Maryland Farms area.

Contact remains primarily through the Luminello portal (see link under CONTACTS), by mail at the address above, or (when very urgent) voice message at 615 239 5151 (option 2). Note that Luminello messages are the quickest way to reach Dr Salomon during business hours.

Stay safe, stay healthy!
