Default Audi Connect Login All the Time?

I've had my B9 for a few days and have been slowly exploring the MMI.

Is there a way to automatically log (as the key user) into Audi Connect when the vehicle starts?

It seems like every time I restart the car the connection is logged out and I have to log in before traffic, Google Earth, etc work -- pretty annoying!

I've got to be missing something...

Love the car so far!

I was just dealing with this today. There is an option to store your login information on the SIM card so you don't need to do it again when you restart the car. It was somewhere in the Audi Connect options--I specifically noticed it after logging in with the PIN instead of password. Sorry I can't be more specific but I can at least confirm that it's possible.

Audi Connect incl. Google just connects and starts working each time I start my car, so the must be an option to save the credentials.

On my A6 C7 there is an option in the Telephone>settings>Connections>Data Connection where I can select for Prompt, No Prompt, Never. Select No Prompt. Should be something similar in the B9.

Looks like that option doesn't exist any more. The closest thing I have found is Telephone -> Data Connection -> Audi Connect (MMI) which has options for Allow and Deny (Allow was already selected).

I had seen the option for storing the connection credentials in the SIM when I set up the Connect login originally. The Login screen showed my name with a SIM-like icon next to it.

I just did a full factory reset (MMI Settings -> Reset -> All). After that was done Audi Connect appeared to connect automatically after I restarted the car. I did not enter my credentials for Audi Connect (presumably confirming that my account was stored on the SIM). Hopefully it stays working!

Hi,
I am wondering if you have found the solution. I have the A5 (B9) since 2017 I had the same problem since the beginning. Then one day the car decided to remember me and It was doing the automatic login. then... I changed my gsm (the old went broken) and since then I did not manage to have the autologin back.
Therefore if you found the solution please share I would be glad to hear it

Ciao
Stefano

Mine does the same thing. I have an appointment next Tuesday for the dealer to look at it (again).

Do you have the MyAudi app installed, configured and running on your phones and if so, is your phone connected to your Audi when this occurs? If so, I've seen where the MyAudi app will log you out of the MMI Connect (everything will work because it's using the configuration from the MyAudi app). You have to close the app on your phone and click the right mmi menu option to login again when you're stopped.

There is also an option in the Connect Key User setup to save your credentials.

Not sure if I understood, but .... Yes I have my app installed and working correctly (of course I do not launch the app as I enter in the car), yes my gsm connects to the car as soon as I get in and turn on the car....then I have lost you.
My problem is I have to manual log in if I want to access to some services like (i.e. audi destination )

Default Audi A6 vvt. 2005 3.2 BKH engine

I removed the vvt actuators on the right side to replace the tensioner. I bought this car knowing the timing had jumped. The previous owner assumed the cam shaft position sensor was faulty and kept driving it. He was wrong. All of the plastic guides were gone and all 6 inlet valves made contact with the pistons. Anyway, while trying to remove the exhaust actuator the spammer wrench with the two pins slipped and I snapped off the pin that holds the spring in place. The actuator part number I broke is
06E 109 084 E. I have a spare 06E 109 084 G. Are they interchangeable? Can I replace the pin? Has anyone done that?
thank you in advance.
