Wow! I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I have been a member since 1984. When I call for anything, I get a great response. I can say that when my card was compromised a while back, it was a pain to get my money back. I would hope that they have since simplified it, and if not, they should consider it. However, in all other aspects, it has been a pleasure. I just recently misplaced my card, and all I did was drive 10 minutes to a local branch. I had my lost card cancelled, checked to see if anyone had used it, and reprinted a new card right there and then. No problem here. If you need help, call 1-800-431-2754.
I would like to leave a review for Natasha Clarke. She is located at 1 Atwood Pl. W., Haven, CT branch. Mrs. Clarke was very helpful and went out of her way to assist me on Saturday, February 24, 2024. No questions were dumb, and she was very patient and understanding. I would rate her a 5. This is the worst bank when it comes to contacting there fraud department i cannot get money out my account nor speak to a person from the fraud department and my account is on hold, at other banks if the fraud department puts a hold on your account they transfer you right away to speak with them. this bank says they put a complaint and you have to wait god knows how long before you can have access to your money this is totally ridiculous I’m changing banks asap and recommend no one to them
I called to ask a question why my 1st 2 payments they only paid toward the interest. I was on hold for 15 minutes and was asked if I wanted to be called back and keep my place in the que. I left my phone number and it is 2 days later with no calls. I sent 2 emails asking for someone to call me with no success. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever had with any financial institution. Do not deal with them, use another institution.

You'll never, ever get called back like you're promised. Long hold waits on the phone, agents trying to call each other, nothing ever gets accomplished. They won't honor their own promotional terms and conditions. Truly awful service.
I am a brand new customer to US Alliance and this has NOT been a good first impression. Standing in line at a bill pay location to make my rent payment and my debit card keeps declining. Called the bank, and after a 2 hour and 43 minute hold, I was told they’re having “technical issues” with all debit cards, right now. Today is September 30th. My rent is due tomorrow and the only option given by the rep was to go to one of the shared branches here in Dallas to withdraw their max amount today and then again Monday, to get the cash needed to make my payment. Are you serious, right now?! Is this run-around the reason I trusted you with my money?! US Alliance is GARBAGE! I’m out on the first thing smoking!
I’ve been waiting on my debit card for a month and a half this place sucks. I just ordered another one and they said it would take 5 days. It’s been 5 days. Where is my card?

Wow...I cannot believe some of these negative reviews! It seems that the pattern for these negative reviews is that the reviewer does not really have clean hands. Example: they repo's my car without notice or whatever. I mean, really?!
As far as I am concerned, this place is great. I have used their CC for about 6 months now and have saved hundreds of dollars without changing any of my spending patterns. This is the best CC reward program around. Granted, the card is not easy to get, but once you have it, the cash rewards are very generous.
In addition, I recently had a question about my EZCard account, and the CSR I spoke with, Bianca, was extremely helpful and kind.

This credit union is ok until there is issue. I made a payment to usalliance credit card from my other bank's billpay. And it was returned due to my credit card was blocked. After numerous calls and messages, the block was finally removed. Then I forgot the bill and made the payment again just after the late fee/interest was posted. I asked if they can remove these fees/interests as the card was blocked initially and the payment was late just for a few days. And I was always able to waive these kind of fee from my other banks. What they responded was " we are not a bank, we are credit union and have different policies than a bank. we don't ever waive these kind of the fees". So just following their own recommendation: open a bank at a regular bank and not this credit union! Bank will treat you much better than this credit union.
Beware of using this company for a HELOC loan. I had one for four years, never missed a payment then sold the house through a corporate move who closed out the loan as part of the process. The final payment the closing company made was off by $100 and was eventually corrected at the end of the month, but USAlliance reported me to credit bureaus citing a late payment. I now have a negative report against me despite me making 48/48 payments on time, and the fault not being mine. The negative report is for 7 years against my social #. Thanks USAlliance.
My recently experience with US Alliance Fin.. was horrible. They provide inaccurate info, they are heartless and don't care about your situation, they repo my car out of anger. I'm here to ruin this company, they aren't even credited under the Better Business Bureau. When a business isn't credited by the BBB they have something to hide. It appears they are all scammers, do not get a car loan with this company, they contractor who towed my car stated he didn't trust them. The contractor stated that they are a small company that don't seem legit. They refuse to have zoom meetings or meet in person, when asking where is there nearest office they become upset, will hang up or even curse you. The phone reps are rude, don't know their job and very inconsiderate, if you ask me, I don't believe this is a real company. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS LOOK ELSE WHERE, IF YOU HAVE A LOAN WITH THEM FIND ANOTHER LOAN COMPANY!! This fake company is hiding something, and I will find out and report it to the news media. Something is seriously not right about US Alliance Fin, please seek car loan/any other sources of loan you need elsewhere.

Wish I could leave a big, fat ZERO! Very rude telephone service, provided me with incorrect info - numerous times!. Finally, 28 days after payoff ( date which was documented on my credit report!,) I recvd the car title in US Mail, no tracking #. I worked in a bank for 27 years, and any sort of title/mortgage legal doc that was mailed ALWAYS had a tracking #. Payoff was 8/29 ----- title mailed 9/13. Now, you tell me what this FCU did with these funds for 10 business DAYS, before mailing regular mail, no tracking #!??? NEVER AGAIN! BEWARE of this Federal Credit Union.
