Good morning zarafromantwerpen,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand your have been unable to go to the iTunes Store, update your apps or or turn off your computer because of concerns regarding your Apple ID password being accepted.
It sounds like you need to update and manage your Apple ID account from a computer by going to the appleid.apple.comwebsite. When you go to this website from your computer, you can confirm or change your Apple ID password and verify your account security settings. You can also update your billing information for the iTunes Store. Once these two things have been addressed, you should have no issues signing into the iTunes Store or downloading apps.
If you forgot your Apple ID password
Change or remove your Apple ID payment information
None of this should affect your ability to turn your computer off and turn it back on. However, if you have forgotten your computer user account login password, here is how to reset it:
Change or reset the password of a macOS user account
Take care.
