We have used turbotax.com for several years and after the first time using them we haven't left. After the first year of doing taxes turbotax saves all your info and that saves a lot of time. When you begin to do another years taxes you can see all the info already saved from the prior years. It saves so much time having your info already there and as long as you haven't moved or changed jobs a lot of the work is done. When you finish your federal taxes the program asks if you would like to copy all the info over for state taxes which again saves time. If you have questions along the way its very easy to get them answered and on most questions there is a blue link you can click to get more info on each question if you dont understand the question. If you need to stop anytime during the process, you can save the info and go back to where you were when you are ready. I like how turbotax is easy to understand and basically foolproof as long as you are putting the info in correctly. Its guaranteed to be correct calculations and guaranteed to be the biggest refund. They help you to figure out if you are due addional monies through answering questions and its all very easy. The whole process it divided into categories and they are easy to understand. TUrbotax.com is worth using to save money by doing it yourself and not having to worry about anything. Its a great website that's easy to use and has a lot of extras to help along the way. You can always contact a turbotax employee if you are confused or just want to talk to someone about any part of your taxes.

Quick and easy if you are a single person and don't have a lot of paper work. Federal is free so it does help the bank as well. You can also just have the cost of the tax preparation for state taxes right out of your refund. I like the feature that tells you the amount of refund you get back for each segment you complete. Ease of Use Easy to use. A lot of pictures and explanations. There is also an online chat function if needed. It also has a meter on the top page that lets you know how much you are getting for a refund Customer Service N/A I have not had to use any of their customer service. Resetting my password is easy. Features I haven't used many other tax sites so I do not know how they compare but it does seem to have a lot of features if you want to upgrade for a cost. Phone App Availability N/A I have not used this on my phone or even knew they had an ap available. I think I would like to use it to check but otherwise not to enter my information.

I am huge fan of turbo tax. I love the ease of the product. I create a login name and it takes to the area to provide my personal information. I have been using online turbo tax for a long time. The reason is because it allows for the option to do connect with professionals in real time. If I have a question I can look it up or ask someone. The product allows for tax returns to be completed and efiled easily. I love being able to have a program to double check the return for errors. In addition the state files can be accessed and included in the preparation of the efile. Turbo Tax stands behind their program and is allows for payers to deduct the preparation fees off their return. It is easy to access with the click of a mouse. Ease of Use I love how easy it sat up and walks through the return while preparing. Customer Service Has superior customer service, if I have a question I can ask a professional to help me. Features I love the use of the product very well. Phone App Availability I can check the status of my return on my phone and I have the option of having a text sent informing if the return was rejected or accepted.

I used to buy It's Deductible software before they were bought out by Turbo Tax. It was well worth every penny then since we have 3 daughters and A LOT of donations going to charity. Its Deductible is now free at www.itsdeductible.com and is just as easy to use! Throughout the year, whenever I take a load of clothing or other items to Goodwill (or other charity) I add my items to It's Deductible online. Then when it's time to do my taxes, I can import all of my donations right into TurboTax. No re-entering all that data a second time! This program will also keep track of mileage, cash contributions, and stock donations. The best thing is that it gives you a value for your donated goods that will likely be accepted by the IRS if you are audited. I highly recommend being conservative in your evaluation of your items. I also take pictures of all the items I donate so that if I get audited, I have a visual record. I have been using this for several years and highly recommend it.

I did not find ItsDeductible Online pleasant to use. It became quite tedious; it has no search capability to allow you to look for where in hell they list the bath towels, for example ... you have to know what the category is before you search for it ... and if you don't know where the would list "trivets" or bungee cords, then you can't search. In addition, if you want to enter an item that you can't find on their list, then it is highly tedious and slow to enter it. If you have 10 or 15 unusual items, the number of wasted keystrokes is enormous. The easy solution, i.e., to have a separate screen for items you manually enter, akin to simple spreadsheet, seems to have eluded the designers. Finally, when you have spent 6 hours (that's right, 6) entering the data from 13 trips to the donation centers (we merged families and downsized last year), you discover that this software does NOT allow you to simply print out the summary of your entries with the estimate values and totals. The most obvious kind of summary reporting is nowhere to be found; if you try using their version of "print," you find out that it prints only three columns of data, not the colum with the item or category values, and there is no sum of the values either. You cannot imagine how frustrating that is. I cannot imagine buying TurboTax -- I was thinking about it until this series of dumb limitations and the final gotcha convinced me to leave my taxes with the tax man. Hope this input helps somebody avoid using Its "free" Deductible Online and getting the headaches I got.

I have always found this software to be helpful because it allows me to calculate everything online and helps me find deductions. It is very convenient for those on the go as well. I would definitely recommend this software to all my friends.

Tax time is stressful for most people, but what if there was an easier way to organize your tax records, increase accuracy, and manage your shoebox of charitable receipts?  I've discovered a better way to track the household goods, money, stock, and mileage donated to charitable organizations throughout the year.  Even better, **it's completely free!** **ItsDeductible** is an online product from Intuit that makes it easy to enter, store, and access your charitable contributions during the course of the year.   A link to the website (*itsdeductibleonline.com*) was included in the TurboTax Deluxe 2007 software that I used this year.  It made perfect sense to me to track my donations as they occur rather than plow through a boatload of receipts at the end of the year.  Motivated by the stress of another year of filing income taxes, I went to the website to learn more and register for a free account. I logged into my ItsDeductible account and entered the information about the two charitable organizations to which I regularly contribute.  Then, I went through the database and located the items I was giving away: ladies shoes, Queen-size sheet sets, men's dress slacks, etc.   As I entered the type and number of items I was donating, ItsDeductible automatically calculated the estimated value of each of the items.  I now have an organized record of the dates and details of my donations that I can access anytime.  From here on out, I plan to enter my donations as they occur so that I don't have to worry about faulty memory or have the stress of gathering a year's worth of records at tax time. The best part of the program is that next year I will be able to import my donations from ItsDeductible directly into my TurboTax Deluxe software.  With a few clicks of a mouse, I will have all of my records and calculations easily transferred into my tax return.  I will still need the shoebox to store my original receipts; however, with **ItsDeductibleOnline** and TurboTax, I will be able to maximize both my time and my tax-deductible contributions.
