Jobcase is a bait and switch scam. If you are looking for a job, they email the job. But, when you open the job offer, the job doesnt show up. Every other, job, does. Jobs that Im not looking for, ie (CDL truck driver, delivery driver, anything that I am not looking for).

I applied for a position using Resume-Archive (which may or may not be in partnership with Jobcase, it makes no difference to me). Through this interaction, Jobcase obtained my email and used the location of my computer to subscribe me to a seemingly endless list of job boards, such that I am inundated by emails from third parties at an obscene level. Further, from Jobcase's own emails, there is no way to unsubscribe without sign on (notably, by connecting to one of the user's social accounts). ********************** has provided my personal email to a large number of outlets without my permission and provides no recourse for ceasing contact with these businesses (which seem to lack legitimacy). I believe it is a violation of law to disclose a person's email to a third party. If these parties are indeed in partnership with Jobcase, then I believe it is a requirement to provide an acceptable way to unsubscribe. In all cases, I feel laws have been broken, and this company is blatantly violating privacy, and plainly disrespecting inadvertent users.

      Hi *****,

We would like to assure that Resume-Archive is not in partnership with Jobcase. We are two separate entities, and any interaction or email subscription you've encountered is unrelated to Jobcase.

Regarding your concerns about the disclosure of your email address to third parties, we want to assure you that at Jobcase, we prioritize user privacy and data protection. We do not share personal email addresses with third parties without explicit user consent. However, if you have received emails from other sources, it may be related to your interactions with Resume-Archive or other platforms not affiliated with Jobcase.

Also, we'd be happy to help you update your email notifications if you think you're receiving too many emails from us. You'll find an unsubscribe link in every email or you can email ********************************** and we can update those settings for you.

Jobcase is generating emails to random email addresses as bait. They claim you made an account and send you a link to "confirm email" when in reality, the account doesn't exist until you "log in" through the password reset. This is a scam. The jobs sent to me were for *** and ************** which has Nothing to do with my career. Once you click on the job listing, it doesn't exist. Beware of them collecting your resume with your info.

I am not satisfied. They provided an explanation for services they offer to actual people who signed up. I never signed up for that service and the second service they sent either. I am still being spammed and I know they bait people into signing up this way. They specifically said they do not bait but without having clicked the confirmation link on the email I should have not started to receive emails every day from them. Not only that, but they were sending me irrelevant Secret Agent and *** job postings. I highly doubt those jobs post as opposed to sourcing from within.

I have not had the specific problems that others have said - although I did sign up for jobcase on purpose so it may just be that I didn't notice because I've been assuming it was legitimate. I do get emails with job postings I might be interested in, however upon clicking on either the "Top 10 Searches Near _____" or on one of the specific listings themselves, I am just taken to the jobcase home page which does not list any of the jobs I have been emailed about. There is also nothing on my profile or home page that could take me to those job listings. no alerts, no messages. The job postings I've been emailed about simply don't exist.

This website sends bait and switch emails and make false claims about available jobs. They spam these false claims via relentless emails - 10 a day is not unusual. Many of the supposed job opportunities that I am perfect for lead to nowhere other than a form to collect personal information. They are praying on job seekers with false leads and hyperbolic language. It is predatory!

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # 20262210.

Jobcase has still not responded to the issues in the complaint. Specific examples I included are 1) an email promoting a job posting for a ****************** job which may or may not exist, but is completely inappropriate for the information I provided. Sending me this job as a potential match is absurd and misleading.

The second example I sent shows text that says ************************ Jobs near ******, ** the problem is that none of the listings provided include a job at State ********* I received NUMEROUS emails like this that lead with text about a job that I could not find when I followed the links. These emails misled me because they promoted jobs I could not find and wasted my time by providing links to other irrelevant job posts.

      I stand by this complaint.

Someone signed up for jobcase.com using my email address today and I immediately started getting piles of spam. I am not sure how I began receiving emails from this sketchy website but they are constantly sending messages about supposed job opportunities that ultimately appear to be fraudulent and leading to nowhere. I visited the website thinking I could just unsubscribe to all emails (which I did) but realized I appeared to have an account on file. I was confused because I didnt remember creating the profile so I logged in (which required resetting the password as I did not know it) and looked for an option to delete it. However, there was no delete option anywhere on the site. The only contact option was an email so I sent a message requesting removal of the profile. A quick automatic reply indicated that 48 hours was the normal wait time for a response. I literally just submitted the deletion request prior to filing a complaint but I am alarmed at the amount of complaints posted about this site. I am not sure if I will be contacted but I believe I was tricked into creating an account under the ruse that I already had one. Even if that is not the case, the site itself is lacking any sufficient evidence of legitimate job postings or community activity - links to supposed positions take you to similarly sketchy looking sites that request personal information and there are oddly three people that my page follows). It seems to be a facade - just a phishing scam to gather names, emails, phone numbers, and other data (resume details, locations of your job search, etc.). Very concerning that this obviously fraudulent page has dozens of complaints and crappy apology responses from the people in charge of it. Definitely needs to be investigated and shut down immediately. I want them to stop contacting me via email and also ensure that they do not text me (I believe texts are coming in too based on similar occurrences experienced by other reviewers where suspicious job interviews are offered).
