I'm a huge fan of Frontsight and have been many times. I've also joked with my friends about my man crush on Brad Ackman. I'd truly love to meet him. So when a friend of mine gave me his book, I was excited to read it.

It starts off a bit slow and dry... and doesn't really get better. Just a collection of thoughts, stories, and experiences. Exactly as advertised. Some are funny and interesting, others interesting, and some very forgettable.

If you've been to Frontsight and enjoyed the experience, this book is worth the read. If you aren't a raving fan of the facility or of Brad, I wouldn't bother.

This is an entertaining book about the starting and growth of Front Site. Front Site is a world class firearms training and personal defense facility . Ackman offers many entertaining tidbits and stories of his experience as a firearms instructor. He also offers insight into his choices of both pistols and rifles . Some technical information but mostly short stories of some of his experience as the operations manager.
