How many devices and people can watch Netflix at once, broken down by each subscription plan

There was a time when Netflix imposed a maximum number of devices that could be connected to your account.

But that limitation no longer exists — you can log into Netflix with as many devices as you like, as long as you don't try to stream from too many at once.

Here's a breakdown of the Netflix guidelines for devices and people, based on your subscription plan. 

How many people can watch Netflix at once? 

On the two cheapest Netflix plans — Basic with Ads and Basic — only one person can watch Netflix at one time. But two people can watch Netflix at once on the Standard plan, and four people can watch at once with Premium. 

If you want to change your Netflix subscription plan, you can do so at any time.
